No ifs about it Mr Darwin JESUS was, is and always will be GOD. John 1:1-3,14 is just one of several scriptures that acknowledges JESUS'S divinity. Now about your question...
The only scripture that even remotely insinuates what you are saying is in John chapter 4 verse 22 where JESUS tells the woman at the well that "we do know what we worship". As another one of your answerer's said you must have a little understanding of the GODHEAD (trinity) to comprehend. Also JESUS is the son of man and the son of GOD.
Mark ch 10 will show you this. As the son of GOD, that makes him GOD as well. Just as much as the FATHER and HOLY SPIRIT are GOD. Phil chapter 2 will show you this also see Hebrews chapter1.
~GOD BLESS YOU AND LEAD YOU INTO ALL TRUTH~

It was the Catholic Church that raised Jesus from a fleshly man, to a Deity. It was the Catholic Church that made Mary, the mother of God, and perpetual virgin. It is not God who is confused, but man, running around like chickens with thier heads cut off. How long are these lies going to stretch out into history and poisin mens minds? Beware of the yeast of the Pharisee's, a little leaven, infects the whole lump. Maybe someone, who is a catholic, could explain why the church started these lies, but then, I don't think they will ever come clean, they wouldn't want to expose themselves. (Would Belzubub, expell Belzubub?)

Jesus is not God; he's God's Son. Jesus told Mary that the 2 of them worshiped the same God. At John 20:17, he told her: "I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to MY God and your God."

Jesus ministry on Earth was that of a man. He is our example to follow, so naturally he would lead us in prayer.
Don't forget he laid aside his divinity for the purpose of redemption and the preaching of the Kingdom. This is not to say that He is not God. He is infact one with the Father and the Holy Spirit. He is infact Absolute Diety.
I Cr 13;8a.

Christ was the word of god.Because Gods words live they are as the son of God. The word was placed as the soul of a man to create an Adam that was without sin. This was necessary because the price of redemption of man was the blood of man. Because no man is perfect all men would die and not rise. The blood of Christ (the new Adam) was a purchase price.Christ being the word of God was as God but not God.We pray in his name not to him.

Jesus is not God and there is no God.. Jesus was the author of the first fictional novel called the Bible.. In it, he created a powerful being which he called God... Idiots and imbeciles are the only ones who will believe that god exist and the bible is the word of someone who doesn't exist...

Jesus never said he was God,rather he implied the oneness of existence with the saying me(the son of man, meaning man and life as a whole))and the father(God/self) are one .existence is one self, we dont really know where we end and the world begins

Jesus is frequently reffered to as our "Lord" and "savior" but often misrepresented as a God. He was a prophet and the SON of God.

I don't know how this misconception got started, but it is wrong.
God the Father, Jesus Christ the SON, Holy Spirit the comforter.
