Columbia (ranked #3 in the nation, expensive)
Hunter (ranked top 10, very affordable)
NYU (ranked top 15, expensive, but has offered me money)

I would LOVE a degree from Columbia, but with social work schools, I've heard that it doesn't MATTER where your degree is from. The thing is, no one has heard of Hunter outside of NYC, and I was raised to go to "name brand" schools, that everyone knows.

Any input is welcome, ESPECIALLY from those with MSWs!

Ok, i broke up with my ex about a month ago and he was still obsessed with me!! and i hated it!!..now just a few days ago i found out that he is going out with my best friends..first they kept it form me for lmost 2 days. And my friend didn't even ask it it was ok. The when she told me i was happy for her ( but i'm a ood actrice) i'm actually relly upset. I'm grade 8 and he was my first nf and now i'm gonna have this horrible memory of him!! I just got off the phione talking to him about everything and it seems like he really likes her. They are both in the same clich as me and i have to watch everything they do...it bugs me soo much! I don't know what to do though cux i don't want to ruin the relationship i ave with either of them>!

I am seriously confused, after reading several stories and postings on debate websites with regards to Islam and the Koran I find that one minute the Koran say 'A' and the next it says 'B'.

For example;
I have heard differing arguments as to whether women are second class to men. Some muslims say the Koran says they are, others say they are not.

I have heard arguments regarding christians and jews, one minute they are infidels and the next they say 'The Koran says all religions should be respected'.

It seems to me that someone is lying or the Koran simply contradicts itself all the way through - thus you can choose whatever you want when its convenient.

Pretty lame if you ask me.

My little brother got me with this one and I was so upset cuz he's only 13. I was so surprized that something like this came out of his mouth.

I was falling asleep in the recliner in the living room when my brother crawled up beside the chair and grabbed my hand.

Does she like me?Me and my fren (girl) have been very close. I once told her my feelings. And since then, we've really came to a stage where we were more than friends(but not couples). She is 1 year older than me and therefore moving overseas to study. B4 she left, i asked her out just to meet up but she said she will contact me later since she was bz with Xmas. But since Christmas Eve, i have not seen her or even heard a word from her. She has left somewhere else to study..., i sent her a mail and i even called her on new year asking her to come down from her home. But i couldnt get thru to her phone. I heard Jesus makes a killer hot rod! I am looking for some fast wheels to catch a few child molesting Catholic priests. I have been dating this guy for 2.5 years... we've been through everything together and love each other a lot, but I'll be honest, I've added some drama to the mix. He says he is tired of my jealousy (I've been cheated on in the past, not by him) and that I should take some time to grow and come back to him when I get myself together.

He has told me he wants to see other people (when/if there is someone that interests him), but he still wants to hang out and be friends with me because he has a lot of fun spending time with me and loves me too much to not have me in his life. He keeps saying it isn't over, but I don't know how I would be friends with him though- I think it would hurt too much. Has this ever worked out for anyone? Can you go from exclusive to just "dating" again? I acknowledge his constructive criticism.. I know I need to work on me... do you think this is just a nice way of him breaking up with me, or is it in a way his inability to move on without letting go?
