Context:
When he'd gone, she brought us to the village and waited. She waited for thirty years. I don't think she ever knew what had made him desert her, though the reasons seemed clear enough. She was too honest, too natural for this frightened man; too remote from his tidy laws. She was, after all, a country girl; disordered, hysterical, loving. She was muddled and mischievous as a chimney-jackdaw, she made her nest of rags and jewels, was happy in the sunlight, squawked loudly at danger, pried and was insatiably curious, forgot when to eat or ate all day, and sang when sunsets were red. She lived by the easy {{laws of the hedgerow}}, loved the world, and made no plans, had a quick holy eye for natural wonders and couldn't have kept a neat house for her life.
================================
What does the sentence "She lived by the easy laws of the hedgerow" mean in simple English please

I am sick and tired of these damn muslims living in the UK taking advantage of the British tolerance (which is running out). Plotting to kidnap a British asian soldier serving in the British Army killing him and then posting his beheading on the internet.
It is time for Muslims to think about the country they are living in that this is a predoninately a Christian country it always has been and always will be!!
It is time for BRITISH people to get out into the street and start protesting against these muslims and start demanding that they should be sent back to where they come from.
We Brits have been far too tolerant for far too long and it is time we started standing up for British-ness multi culturism is not working. It is time for them to go and I don't care if you think I am a racist I am defending my country and my faith this is my country not their's and they do not have the right to live here.

i'm hoping for a VBAC with this pregnancy. I'll be 41 weeks on tuesday. I've been patient waiting- but now am feeling "under the wire" because if I haven't gone into labor by Tuesday (feb 13) at my OB appointment- she will schedule a c-section for me at 42 weeks. I want a natural birth so bad! Anyways- i've gone weeks without being dilated or having anything more than 'menstral like cramps'... today at my appointment i was 80% effaced, -2 station and dilated to a 1. My OB said if i was dilated just a pinch more she would have been able to get her finger up far enough to strip my membranes... so hopefully she can on tuesday.. Does anyone have any suggestions of anything I can do to help my body dilate or anything? I've been taking red raspberry leaf- going to the chiropractor- dh has the old "afraid of hurting the baby' thing going- so any sex has pretty much been completely out of the question-- anyone offer up any suggestions? or just some encouragement for me??? thanks!

9/11, Hurricane Katrina, et cetera, et cetera. It seems that every disaster that strikes America (or elsewhere) can never be what it seems. Its always an "inside job" or a "attack by a technologically advanced nation" or, what seems to pop up the most now, "Bush's fault."

Why can't people just accept that things just HAPPEN, and that natural disasters actually DO happen and terrorists DO attack without it being an inside job?

I just watched the National Geographic Channel's show on the Big Bang last night and it was completely fascinating to me. It struck me that most people who believe in another beginning or otherwise don't believe in the Big Bang would probably have no interest in this fascinating show. Would any of you who believe in a different beginning find a show on the Big Bang interesting? Other comments?

I don't think you would have to believe it to find it very interesting.

Question: In a heart pacemaker, a pulse is delivered to the heart 81 times per minute. the capacistor that controls this pulsing rate discharges through a resistance of 1.8e6 ohms. one pulse is delivered every time the fully charged capacitor loses 63.2% of its original charge (CONFUSING!). what is the capacitance of the capacitor?

My Approach:
I went ahead and converted 81 pulses/minute to pulses/second (which is like 1.35 pulses/sec). I am having trouble plugging these numbers into an equation - q = q(initial)*e^(-t/RC). im not sure that's the equation to use. i would appreciate all the help i can get on this problem! even a fully solved problem would be cool.

Book Answer: 4.1e-7 F

I think it's best to NOT be involved.

A woman has twins and gives them up for adoption.
One of them goes to a family in Egypt and is named "Ahmal." The other goes to a family in Spain; they name him "Juan. " Years later, Juan sends a picture of himself to his birth mother. Upon receiving the picture, she tells her husband that she wishes she also had a picture of Ahmal. Her husband responds, "They're twins! If you've seen Juan, you've seen Ahmal."
