1st of all, bring the dog to Vet to have the dog fully examined-since you don't know where the dog has been.
2nd of all, bring the dog to the Vet-tell them what you see when the dog is urinating (doing its business)- iit is possible it has UTI or if its a female its probably menstrumal or pregnant. It is best to bring the dog to Vet to see what has been done and what can be done to the dog.

I agree get the dog to the vet. Is it a male or female. If it is a female she may be starting in heat too. Urinary infections also cause this. I would also when at the vet find out if it has an avid chip in it too. A lot of people forget that the dogs may have it. The owner may be looking for the dog too if not then are you ready to pay for the expense of the dog. Hope you make it a good home if so. Good luck but I would definitely take it to a vet.I would also take a urine specimen in too. That isn't hard to do so the vet can analyze it

Take the dog to the vet and get a complete physical and any shots that may be needed. The dog's diet has likely been poor out on the streets so you must introduce real quality dog food at a slower pace until his digestive system settles down. Don't let him chow down,it's really bad for dogs, allow him as much water as needed. Do not feed people food ever! Never! It is so terribly bad for a dog's health, they get bloated and full of gas, they are uncomfortable at best but likely in pain from bloat. So please be kind,I know you have heart, afterall, you saved a dog. Bless you for saving him from the streets,it's much worse out there for dogs then you would think.

It could be as simple as a urinary tract infection or something far more serious such as liver failure. Since you have taken the responsibility in taking in the stray it is your duty to take the dog to a vet. If $$ an issue most communities have some sort of a clinic w/ cheap or free rates. Call aspca for info.

Take the poor little guy to the vet. Sounds like a bladder or urinary tract infection. But I'm only a layman. You need a professional's opinion. I feel bad for him! Good luck!
