sometimes there is a conspiracy, but more often than not, this is not the case. sensationalism sells papers, advances certain careers, and helps people who have a need to believe that man-kind has more control of their environment than we actually do. there is also one school of thought that believes the government and the powers that be want us to live in a constant state of fear ,confusion, and uncertainty. by doing this, they can keep us under control and in need of their leadership.the constant stress caused by these negative emotions keeps us weary and beaten down. much easier to keep civil unrest at bay.

It would help if Bush was actually doing his job instead of needing to be on vacation 75% of the time. Reading to kids and playing the guitar are so much more important than leading the country during a disaster.
I go with the FIRST story which is told because that is the closest facts to the real story, BEFORE people have skewed and spun the fact into what THEY want them to say. The facts as they stand, point to that Bush knew that 9/11 was going to happen and he let it.
People who ask questions will use their logic and find out the real answers and not those that are spoon fed to us.

because of the fact they are no longer rather interesting human beings and don't be attentive to what a authentic conspiracy is that if it hit them from a great height. seem at it, the place do marvelous socks, biros, underpants, what's David Icke on,why extraterrestrial beings choose to anal probe Hill Billies and how Mars bars variety of have been given smaller at present are all conspiracies that deserve learn. they do no longer rather see the large photograph or that being abducted via extraterrestrial beings and compelled to do degrading acts concerning a metallic merchandise with lots of attachments is merely the situation to end an outstanding evening out, nonetheless they actually might choose to replace telephone numbers and consistent with probability connect as much as have some beverages and consistent with probability exchange roles. those are the comparable people who did no longer discover it fishy that George W Bush could win the Presidency in 2000 or that M evening Shyamalan could make a movie with communicate that replaced into so undesirable that I surpassed out by way of sheer boredom and that i've got seen Santa Claus Conquers the Martians & Manos hands of destiny.

Because... the aliens are out there, our own government hates our guts, Jupiter is aligned with Saturn, God hates the Gulf states, terrorists can control the weather, the housing crisis can be controlled through killing people...
Blah, blah, blah. Terrorists are mean and like to kill people. That's an accepted opinion. Hurricanes happen when the weather gets hot. That's a fact. Isn't it so much more interesting when you have someone to blame, though?

You answered your own quesiton....because some people just can't accept that things just happen.....I think there are also those people who start these theories just to get people all riled up. Kinda like some people on here just ask question to get people riled up....Kinda like the guy who wrote The Da Vinci Code....he is probly sitting back somewhere laughing at all the attention people are giving this book....he is making a killing on the people who love this stuff and all the attention people are giving it from both sides.....
I think another reason is that people are always looking to blame someone...and sometimes in order to do that you have to come up with some wacky way to make that work.....

Just like some people need to believe in a higher power to explain things, some people need alternate theories to accept events. There are loads of reasons why. For some people, they don't want to accept that they are part of a group so they "other" the event. Like 9/11, it's hard for some people to accept that US policies generated enough hate in another group that they would act out on it. It's easier to say it was an inside job than to accept that your way of life is offensive.
Check out the wikipedia article on conspiracy theories, it explains a lot.

Because some of us are not mindless robots who believe everything we are told. We are truth seekers. It only took 50 years for the truth to come out about Pearl Harbor. We will have to wait another 50 years to find out the truth about 9-11? Nope...due to technology....we are able to get it a lot sooner.

it's only a conspiracy if what they say is NOT true. otherwise it's the truth. the government and other agencies spend a lot of time hiding the truth. Discover for yourself what the truth is before you believe what someone tells you

Conspiracy theory = "I have insider knowledge, I know things that most people don't know, I am so cool."
Sometimes it means "My life is so crummy, I have to latch on to some stupid conspiracy theory to explain things and make myself feel better, better than taking responsibility for my own life and problems."
I wish to God that people would not accept extremely negative ideas with no real evidence to support theses extremely negative ideas.
