im looking for a mom out there who could relate.. my parents are separated for almost 11 years now, i'm with my dad since then, now, my mom offered me a work so i moved to her place, i really can't help it but the pain and the anger is still there.. i can't even stand talking to her for 10 mins. i really hate the feeling that we're in the same roof but im cold to her.. can you help me fix things up! i just need someone i can share everything to be undestood.

How many times have you heard someone talk about SS benefits and it not being around when we reach our "Golden Years"? Iv'e come up with a few thoughts towards our future and that of our SS benefits. Say you are not married, no family, or anything of that nature, and you pass on prior to your benefits being able to be used. Where does that money go? With that thought in mind, why doesn't our Government allows us an option to take care of our own future with our money. One idea was, what would be the big deal if we were able to take a portion of our Social Security each year and invest it on our own. We all get a statement of what our benefits will be when we are ready to retire, seeing how it is our money, we should be able to fill out a form and say, Id like to take "X" amount of % from my SS . You might be lessing your benefits from SS, but at least you have a chance to see your SS money closer to you and its security. Just a thought.

As I have mentioned before my ex-husband and I had decided to seperate due to being 2 different people. This was about a year and a half ago. Since the beginning of this year we have been spending a lot of time together and doing things as a family. We take our boys to the park, visit our families together, or go see family shows together (i.e. Disney on Ice)...he had stated before that we are two way different people and are not compatible.
If he wishes not to be together, why does he make plans for us as if we were together and a happy family? Does he maybe want to work things out? Or what? I dont know whether I should ask him or just keep going along with him....

please help me understand....
