As per my interpretation, Genesis 9:1-7 outlines the following Noahide Laws:
* Prohibition of Murder (Genesis 9:4-6)
* Prohibition of Eating Live Meat (Genesis 9:4-5)
* Establishment of Courts of Justice (Genesis 9:5-6)

But the remaining four (and the Prohibition of Murder as a repeat) are found in the Ten Commandments... but to my knowledge, only Jews are required to follow the Ten Commandments. Is this correct?

If the remaining four laws were derived from the Ten Commandments, then they were given to Moses, not Noah, right?

Were these remaining laws possibly outlined somewhere else? Please help me to understand this ostensible discrepancy.

I am 19 and my fiance is 26, We have been engaged for 2.5 years and love eachother very much. We were planning on marrying in early 2009. I unexpectedly got pregnant this october and my fiance and I have decided to get married this april. We are getting married in a non-denominational christian churce by the ocean. I have bought my dress already. My family think its too soon but our excited for me and for me doing what I believe is right. My fiance's family on the other hand feels the need to constantly trash our relationship. All they do is talki about us behind our back. I believe they may be jealosus due to cheating husbands and multiple divorces but I believe I am doing the right thing and this is what I want.

What do you think?


p.s please dont be too harsh with me, I am stressed out enough as is and dont need to hear about being "knocked up" or our age difference, I am very mature for my age and have had my share of experiences very young.

My employer yacks all the time about safety. Whenever I bring up problems that need solving about safety I'm the one who gets screwed over. Then they broke my contract after I was told I wouldn't be penalized. Then my employer made up lies about me in order to fire me and that put me in the hospital. Now I'm suicidal half the time cause it sounds like a good career move considering my employer's concern for me except a postal would be more productive. The rest of the time I can't do anything cause I'm so depressed.

ok, i have to shave under my arms more than three times a week and it leaves my skin in a horrible condition. i get dark stubble, irritated skin and sometimes pimpels. what are some alternatives that are not waxing. i am afraid to even use products such as nair and veet, because whenever i use them on my legs or arms it leaves me with a rash for about two days. i am going on a cruise in a month and a half, and i really want my underarm hair to be out of the way. (i have tried plucking, but it hurt and got infected) please help.

Is it really a good thing that Congress doesn't debate the issue, no changes in policy occur, Bush has unlimited power, people like John McCain preaching psychological words of wisdom against any rebuttle against the president's plans like "vote of no confidence," etc. while maybe 35% of the country think more military operations and war in Iraq is the answer to peace in the region? This is something to be happy and proud of as an American? Americans should have faith in a government that operates to prevent change?
