my cat was looking at the dark closet and he was like acting really scared

If a human can see them, then why not a cat. I fully believe in ghosts and spirits. My son has a gift for seeing things that can happen within a 24 hour period. He has saved 2 families from burning down after he saw a flash of their homes burning and them outside (one without the kids). He got the nerve up and went to their doors, told them of what he saw and they acted on his information by getting an electrician to check their wiring. In both cases their wiring had shorted out and begun to smolder in the walls. I took the call for one family calling to thank him for saving their lives. He can see and hear ghosts also. Cats can also fortell of an earthquake.

I wouldn't put it past them, but there's a lot of other explanations to go to before you get to "ghosts."
Imagine if we'd stopped looking at volcanoes once someone got the idea that Vulcan was having a bad day and taking it out on us. We'd never have developed early warning seismic detectors.
What else could be in the closet? An odd smell? An odd noise from the next room? Are you sure you read your cat's emotions accurately?
Unless the cat is freaking out, or you find ghostly messages in blood around the house, it's probably nothing to worry about. A circle of plain salt should mark off "spirit-free" zones wherever you don't want the ghosts messing with your stuff.

who ever would laugh at a question should not even bother to comment on it.
It may be possible, that they(and other animals) are aware of things we overlook.
but Ive no been a cat, and i've never had a ghost to walk by to test if a cat can see one, as i cant see them myself. but maybe.

animals like cats and dogs can sense/see the paranormal. alot of people like james van praagh say that along eith very young children,they see more things like that. a friends house was haunted. we always knew when charlie was around, her dog and cat would act strange. bo would growl and stare at where the ghost was and miss.kitty would run like the devil was chasing her

yes cats can see ghosts they have this devine eyesight they are the simbol of godess bast . The cats are able to pridict dangers and can see and sence dark energies but rest assure being the simbol of godess bast goddess of protection it will protect you from all evil. trust me i am a pagan

Animals have been known to sense illnesses in their owners like heart attacks and seizures before they even happen, so why not see ghosts.

I've heard that animals do see spirits so yeah maybe, or maybe your cat saw something that just plain scared him lol. Did you look?

It could be anything. something shaped like a dog or something. Sometimes, cat's look scared when it is cold.
P.S. There are no ghosts in the world.
