My furnace seems to be heating only half of the upstairs. The left side of the house is warm but the right is not. What could the problem be?I've checked to see that the vents are open. Serious answers please. Thanks.

Significant??Advice pls?

I was out last night with work colleagues and a girl who I work with said she wanted to clear the air (I thought everything was ok). She said to me:

She wants us to get on - at work and outside
Told me that I should drop the 'attitude'
She wants to trust me and hopes that I don't back stab her e.g. talk about her behind her back
She wants us to get to know each other better

When we're alone we find it difficult to talk to each other and it goes silent ASAP.(happened today at work!)

Each time we talk, I find it more uncomfortable/difficult as I don't know what to say!She's asked if I'd go to her birthday bash in a few weeks - I don't know what to say???

Why did she feel the need to 'clear the air'???
Suggestions on how to deal with this???

p.s. we do flirt with each other and she has a Boyfriend of 2 years.Colleagues say we have a love/hate WORK relationship

Re-Financing my Car!?

I purchased a car In Colorado about 7 months ago, I came to Florida on Vacation and my purse was stolen with all my ID and bank cards in them. Well making a long story short. They wiped me out, and I lost my apt. and things in Colorado. I was forced to get a job and place to live here to survive. I have never missed a payment on my car, but the people that financed my car told me that I had signed an addendum to my contract saying that I would not move from the state. I was wondering if I pay for the car for a year, should I be able to have someone in Florida refiinance my car since I have a good payment history. My other credit or lack of it is not too great, but car credit is good. They also tell me that they can pursue felony charges if I don,t return to Colorado within the year. I don't know why they would if I am paying for the car. I have started over down here, and cannot see returning there to start over again, since I am established down here. Guess I need refinancing Advice.

Potential/existing UK primary school teachers - how difficult did you find it to gain experience in schools?

I'm currently looking to train study for a part time PGCE course in autumn next year. However, I've had real trouble gaining experience in schools. I signed up to the TDA last summer and have completed a couple of days under the 'open schools' programme, but have since met with loads of problems. Firstly, one school I offered to volunteer in wouldn't even process my CRB form and now I've completed another form and are pursuing it through my local council, however, I'm told that there aren't many spaces for volunteers and teachers are too busy to carry out any induction.

Has anyone else been in the same position and is there something else I should be doing? My training provider requires a minimum of 10 days throughout a couple of terms, hence things like helping in libraries and assisting with cubs/brownies won't suffice!

hi im due 15 march 2007 when did i conceive?

i carnt remember my last period so just wondering how they managed to give me a correct due date. I did have an early scan at 10weeks, is it true what they say, the earlier you have a scan the better they can measure the baby correctly.

Why do Creationists (conservative Christians) lie about science and oppose teaching it in public schools?

Creationists misappropriate scientific terms and concepts (e.g. ‘proof’ and ‘theory’), redefine them so that they are no longer ‘scientific’, and then use the corrupted definitions to ‘prove’ the ‘scientific’ truth of their faith-based beliefs.

If they really are as secure in their faith as they claim – why do they lie and cheat trying to justify it?

And don’t any of you anti-evolutionist types claim that you know more about the scientific method than I do unless you have a graduate degree in a science (or science related) discipline (from a real university) and have published in major peer reviewed scientific journals.

I’ll open with a couple of my own: ‘Global Change Biology’ and the ‘ International Journal of Climatology’.
