Ok i have been in school plays with good parts with about 400-600 lines to remember, so here's what you do. I personally use the say it over method. First say the first sentance, then say it again, then the next sentance then go back and say the first sentance and the seconed sentance. And plus if your doing a speech, they should allow you to bring tiny index cards, just make the words big and when you take a glance down don't make it noticable

Good Luck, Break a Leg!

Repetition is good. Read your speech to yourself in the mirror. And then read it to your parents or siblings or room-mates.

Also try to think of it like an interconnected story almost. It's a lot easier to remember a story than a bunch of little facts.

first of all concentrate on whatever you are doing.then understand it.if you understand it clearly it will be easy for you to remember.only repetition without thinking what the speech is will not help. Also try to make a Flo-chart of important points and expand it

Repetition. It's the best way.

If you have different topics (or subtopics) in the speech, you could use different colored highlighters for each topic. That helps separate the topics in your head. It got me through my bachelor's with a 3.92

i have found the best way to remember things is to write them down. i used to read encyclopedias as a kid, and every time i came on something i found interesting, i would write it down. years later, i can still remember most of it. im sure the scientific explanation is something like"remembering the subject in multiple parts of the brain".its a kind of memory cross reference.
