although religious people have many preformed ideas i think theoretically, they can be open minded, that's if they believe that other people have the right to disagree with them and to follow other religions or no religion at all (i.e. believe in freedom) but in real life, do you know such people who are both religious and open minded?

Three weeks ago I broke up with my boyfriend/fiance of 2 years, It was the hardest thing for me to do but I knew I had to becasue I had only been with him and I was not happy anymore. Im 18 and I have been seeing this guy for a little less then 3 weeks, and he is in the Army and dosnt live very close to me he usually drives down to see me on the weekends (which is a 5 hours drive). Well he was suppost to come down yesteday, but he didnt, I havnt talked to him yesterday either, he wont return my text messages or my phone calls, and the one time I did get a hold of him I am pretty sure he hung up on me. He says that he is interested in me, I was wondering if he said that just becuase he knew I am in a very emotional state and he just wants to have sex, I dont know what to do, he is a great guy from everything he has told me and he makes me smile and laugh all the time. What should I do, just drop it and find another guy or continue to call him to see whats up with him?

Just curious. have you ever considered that the large majority of the muslim religion remains peaceful, but does nothing to stop the radical view of islam from tarnishing their reputiation and faith.

can we say this another way? the left, while most of them truly are sincere and go about their daily business trying to do their best and not raising hell, are still not condemning the obvious radicals airing their voice in the name politics(i.e. hillary and friends, and the hollywood socialist sect), tarnishing their capabilities to be taken seriously?

peaceful muslims do not seem overly willing to disassociate themselves from radicals, are substantial liberals willing to disassociate themselves from the far far far left?
