Three weeks ago I broke up with my boyfriend/fiance of 2 years, It was the hardest thing for me to do but I knew I had to becasue I had only been with him and I was not happy anymore. Im 18 and I have been seeing this guy for a little less then 3 weeks, and he is in the Army and dosnt live very close to me he usually drives down to see me on the weekends (which is a 5 hours drive). Well he was suppost to come down yesteday, but he didnt, I havnt talked to him yesterday either, he wont return my text messages or my phone calls, and the one time I did get a hold of him I am pretty sure he hung up on me. He says that he is interested in me, I was wondering if he said that just becuase he knew I am in a very emotional state and he just wants to have sex, I dont know what to do, he is a great guy from everything he has told me and he makes me smile and laugh all the time. What should I do, just drop it and find another guy or continue to call him to see whats up with him?

Breaking up because your not happy is a good thing, but to date someone shortly after is bad because your still emotionally attached to the one you broke up with. Really how could this other person make you smile and laugh all the time when he's not answering your calls or your texts and you assume that he has hung up on you i know you miss him and want him next to you and when your alone after trying to call him and he doesn't answer since your already emotional you cry is this how you want to be validated you need someone close to you to support you to be there for you. you shouldn't have to assume someone is a nice guy just because of the things he tells you you should be able to feel it and see it. It's hard but i think you should let it go because it will get worse and you might have a nervous break down or something. I wouldn't suggest finding another guy because that would make two breakups in a year already and the new year has just begun i would say take some time for yourself and overcome what has already happened deal with fixing your emotional problems first and then let another good guy find you just sit back and relax someone is for you out there and he will come just have patience and work on you. Drop him. He's done. Take some time alone to process the breakup with your fiancee before you find another guy. Trust me.

hunni.......you already know what to do!!! this guy is not interested in you for real!!! why don't you just avoid the whole stress of having-a-guy/not-having-a-guy thing for now and do some things for you? there's plenty of time to find someone, and the healthier you are (in your head), the more likely it is that you will find a good one. the best time to find a guy is when you realize you don't NEED one. :)
