I have two female bettas in one tank already (just them, no other fish) and they get along swimmingly ;). However, when I bought another female they harrassed her until she died. Is there a way to acclimate a new female to the two I already have so that they won't kill her or shall I just stick with the two I have?

Besides the earth.
All the talk about terra-forming Mars, though not completely meritless, seems to focus on getting oxygen onto Mars.

Mars has oxygen it's just bound to carbon. Plants could fix that.

Martian air needs to be like 80% nitrogen to be breathable and non volitile.

I don't understand how people use the "the government says it's illegal so that's it". I can't understand why people go along with whatever the government says without question as to WHY something is illegal. Have people become so well trained that they actaully believe that if the government says, that's the final word and they know best?

When it comes to certain things...I like to know WHY something is illegal. Is it illegal because it's truly a bad thing or is it illegal for other political reasons.

Sorrry but..."The government said so" doesn't float with me.

I have ordered live plants from a company called Ottawa Aquatics. I ordered them 2 weeks ago, and have not received them yet. I was just wondering if anyone else here have ordered live plants from this company and what their experience with them was like? since 2001 i had trouble with my hip n i kept going to dr after dr them saying nothing was wrong i found a dr in nov n went to her she done a bone density test n said i had osteoporisis bad shes been giving me steroid shots in my joint i went back last month n she said i need a total hip replacement i am tryng to find out how long the recovery is

I live in the state of New York (Upstate)...I live in a apartment. Which is a house with 2 apartment, one upstairs one down stairs. There is only one entrance to get into the apartments...which is also your exit as well. But before you can enter the apartment...You have to go on the porch. The porch used to have two post/banister. One of them has been broken for many months. And the owner/landlord haven’t fix it yet, he just laid it alongside of the porch. I understand he has lot of iron in the fire(other things to do)such as take care of the other houses and apartments he has. Because I know he owns a lot of buildings and stuff. But it would only take 10-15 of his time to fix. A few mornings ago. I was coming down the steps, and happened to slip on some ice/snow. I could of have some support if the post/banister was there, but which it wasn’t, and in result of that. I broke my arm. Is that my fault. Would that be the landlord responsibility to fix that or was that the tenants responsibility ?
