I want to make a bootable CD-R for my G4 Mac running OS X 10.4.8. On the disk, I'd like to put suitable repair applications. How do you make a CD-R bootable and what apps. would you recommend besides Disk Utility and DiskWarrior? I stepped on and broke my bootable CDs for those.

i had to buy a microsoft excel book for a class in school with a cd rom in the pack...they didnt have any new so i was forced to buy used and when i had to open a file i looked at the cd for the first time and its all scratched looking and im not sure if its a coincidence that my computer keeps having the 'program not responding' window come up or its the cd rom making it do that because its unreadable or something but, does anyone know how to get rid of the scratches? its just a cd rom that im gonna sell back to the school so hopefully its an inexpensive way. i tried rubbing it with a soft cloth by the way, and it still doesnt work.

What could it mean when you haven't seen your ex-boyfriend in ONE YEAR and he calls you to go see a movie with him? My ex did that to me, I went, then he drove me home after the movie. I asked him why he wanted to see me after all this time & he said "just to see u, I wanna see u every once in awhile". What does it mean? After 40 days of using winRAR, you can still use it but everytime you open it it displays a message that says " Please note that winRAR is not free software. After a 40 days trial period you must either buy a license or remove it from your computer."
That doesn't make any sense, because I can still click ok and then continue using the program.
I'm really confused, could someone please expain? I mean shouldn't block it self after the trail period why is it still working?
