I want to make a bootable CD-R for my G4 Mac running OS X 10.4.8. On the disk, I'd like to put suitable repair applications. How do you make a CD-R bootable and what apps. would you recommend besides Disk Utility and DiskWarrior? I stepped on and broke my bootable CDs for those.

If I think approximately accurately the gray set up discs are laptop-unique (meaning they only artwork with the Mac that they've been given right here with) and the comprehensive-shade ones are retail copies that artwork on any Mac that meets the minimum specifications. in case you've gotten gained a grey disc then you definitely lots of the time mixed them up, it is the reason that is not working. you may attempt to discover the alternative one or circulate % up a retail duplicate of Snow Leopard for $29.ninety 9. in case you've gotten gained an entire-shade one, the only ingredient i will experience of is disc in all risk scratched. If all else fails you may make an appointment with any individual on the Genius Bar on the closest Apple keep.
