My god, it DOESN'T grow back dark and thicker if you shave. I've been shaving mine forever, so I think I'd know. Not sure why everyone seems to have that misconception.

To the OP: Shave it. If you shave your legs you should have no problem with your arms.

i think it would be a waste of time to shave your arm hairs since shaving will make the hairs grow back thicker. Try using those hot waxes for hair removal instead. If you're nervous about doing the procedure yourself, why don't you call a beautician for an appointment to have a professional removal of your arm hairs. hope this helps a little.

Sure, if it really bothers you that much. The only thing is that if you don't keep doing it, then it will grow back all prickly and funny. And if people have said something about your arm hair before, and you shave it, then they will notice that you shaved if off. I don't have this problem, but if I did, that's what I would do...

Shaving your arm hair will not make it grow back thicker. If this was the case, balding men would shave it and have a full head of hair afterwards!!! I shave my arm hair, but mine is very fine and white, but there is alot of it. It does not grow back black or thicker. Once you shave it, it will grow back, but you will notice the stubble. Therefore, you will be getting rid of one insecurity to be replaced by another.
Otherwise, resulting to laser removal which is expensive!!!

...i'd bleach it...
shaving will make it come back thick and dark...
and if you forget just once to shave it... you have a grosser darker problem...

and if you NEED the hair gone, wax.
it takes longer to grow back
and isnt as painful as people make it out to be.

please don't shave it. yes, it will grow back thicker, which will make it even more noticeable. especially with the annoying black little stubble that will grow with it. plus, you don't want your boyfriend or crush to touch your arms and say ouch cuz its prickly, no thats nasty. don't shave it, waxing will be much better.

No. Don't shave it. Could you go for laser hair removal? I heard it really works.
