and he told me he didnt say anything before,because he was scared of loosing me as a friend.as we were talking,i looked at his eyes,and i saw love.he really loves me.he apologized like a hundred times,for not coming over friday night.friday nights,we rent horror movies,and watch them until we both pass out in the living room.he also told me that his ex was always jealous of me.because he wouldnt spend the night with her,but would rather sleep on my carpet in the living room,and me on the couch.it was cute,he chuckled when he said that.should i give it a try?he is a great guy,responsible,and my best friend in the whole world.its crazy,i feel like im part of a soap opera.and i hate soaps.i really need advice on this.hes my best friend,i dont know what to do next.

i am 10 weeks 3 days pregnant and i havent gone to the doctor yet. is that bad?i am going to the doctor's tommorrow. i am not taking prenatal vitamins either. is that bad? i am going to a concert in april, i was wondering will the loud music be bad for the baby. can i go or no? and why? i have been feeling sick, and i dont eat alot. please help me with this. if anyone else has more helpful stuff to tell me please tell me... thanks

Thanks for your help in advance.
I got a speeding tickets for going 80 mile on 60 mile zone on I-75 near southern Georgia.
I have a FL license and it's going to be a very, very far drive for me to go back to appeal in court. I have been driving for 10 years and this is my very first ticket.
I am not sure what is the best way to do. I called the county court and they told me the ticket is going to be $400+, and plus I will have the points on my driving record. Also, the lady who answered my question on the phone was really rude, and told me basically even if I appeal in the court, I will have NO chance to pay less fine, plus I have to pay for the court fee. She made it sound like there's no benefit to appeal at all.
My friend suggested to hire an traffic lawyer but I've also heard that would cost more than $1000.
Can anyone here offer any advise? I don't know if I should just suck it up and pay, or appeal in court..or what else I can do...

I have to start writing college applications this coming year, and I have a dilemma. I've dreamt of being a violinist since age two; I've been playing for eleven years, and though I can hardly call myself a prodigy, I'm quite good for my age and have improved drastically over the last year. I can't bear to think of a life without it; sometimes I think it's all that's kept me sane. I realize, however, that it is extremely difficult to make a living as a musician. Over the last few years, I have developed a keen interest in history; as of this year, I'm in a double-AP history program, receiving commendable grades, and thoroughly enjoying the subject: something else I don't want to live without. I would like to double-major in college, ideally, but a lot of the high-quality music schools don't allow this. Should I give up on majoring in both subjects (and should I give up music or history as a major?), or search until I find an institution that will allow me to pursue both passions?

First of all , may I say thank you to anyone who reads this until the end. Its a big factor in my life at the minute and I really feel like I need advice from people who do not know e emotionally.

I have no idea where to start so I will just type.



All through school I got top grades, I came out with 5A's and 6 B's at GCSE. I always knew what I wanted to do with my life; that was something within the medical profession and nursing seemed the right thing for me, so at age 14, my life was all planned out. I would stay on and do my A Levels, then go and get my nursing degree.


Or maybe not, I became depressed at aged 12, but now I was 15 it was a lot worse. I had to see psychochologists. I gave up on everything I ever enjoyed in life, all of a sudden I was no longer a member of youth clubs, and the choir, I gave up drum lessons, I wouldnt go out with friends, and things prety much stayed that way.

I tried at my A levels at college, give up. Went back to school to try, gave up, Went back one more time, gave up again.

So there I was , 17 years old, with fantastic GCSE's, no A Levels, and still a big drea of being a nurse. I decided to give A Levels one more attempt but was turned away. During that summer I lost 5 stone, and went down to 8 stone.

Speaking to a careers adviser I discovered there was another route into nursing, a diploma, which only required good GCSE results.`So I applied and got accepted and everything was fine until 6 months into the course, I had put on 2 stone, lost confidence and quit. There was my dream gone, again.

6 months later after putting on another 2 stone I tried again, and quit again after only 5 months.

Tried a third time, guess what? you guessed it, I quit again.


Everytime I quit , I gave the excuse "nursing wasnt for me", but its only these days I can admit that was no where near the truthful reason. The reason I quit was because I had no confidence and no self esteem.


So after all this quitting i put on more weight. Then in my eyes I went crazy, being told I should be admitted into hospital by a doctor but only refusing this. Depressed wasnt the word. Dead was more like it. No personality anymore, my life was in one room, and the internet was the only thing I had.



A bit of therapy seemed to work for a while, and then I spotted a job in a laboratory as a medical laboratory assistant. "oooo that sounds interesting, looking down microscopes" hmmmmm. not so accurate.

But anyway, I got that job, being chosen out of 75 people that applied. I have been there 2 months. And guess what? Yes , I want to quit. But it feels different this time, its got nothing to do with confidence, its simply because I hate it. Its not soething I want to do with the rest of my life.


I have been off "sick" for 4 weeks, I was actually sick for a few of the, but now Im feeling too down to go back, and the thought of going back depresses and stresses me out that much that I have come out in a rash, I have vomitted, I have had 2 panick attacks.

There are so many reasons why I dont want to go back

- I hate the job and I miss nursing too much

- My boss is not happy at all with me because I failed to meet the sickness policy because I never sent in sick notes or kept them informed.

- It depresses me so much and i literally cry on the way to work because I dont like the things I have to do. My job is to throw out old specimens which range from a piece of skin, to an organ, to a limb!, I have to drain off the chemical they are in, then fill up a bucket of specimens. Its disgusting, sometimes its even a colon full of ****! When im not doing this, im labelling. How exciting.





Nothing, NOTHING in my job even comes close to how interesting nursing was.



What im writing this for is because I need to read it myself a few times to see if I can make sense of what I want to do with my life.

Why do I keep quitting?

If I went into nursing now would I quit again?




I cannot express the feeling I feel right now because I have to go into work tomorrow, I cant imagine how I am going to feel in the morning.

Should work make me feel like that?

Is life too short to fee like that? or

Is it just a fact of life that I have to work no matter if it makes me feel so bad.
















This post doesnt feel like it has a purpose, it feels like I have just let my head and heart type. But if anyone can see any sense or any direction, advice, opinions in any of it then please help, and please be as blunt as you can possibly be.


Should I work tomorrow? OR should I apply one more time for the thing I have always wanted to do?

Is music better today than it was back then or worse? I think music back then is better. Today's music seems like it has no meaning, or if it does it's something stupid and not worth caring about. I recently purchased new tires for my SUV (BF Goodrich Long Trail). My front tires are now making the most awful noise like their is something hard rolling around inside the rims or hubcaps. It's extremely loud and I can hear it even at creeping speeds. It does not happen all the time and the noise does not necessarily happen in both tires at the same time, plus it varies in volume. I have noticed, the noise is exceptionally loud right after I wash the truck. I took it back to the tire dealership, they heard the noise too and checked out the tires by taking them off and looking for broken valve stems. Now they are telling me that the tires are expanding and making the noise and I should not be concerned. Well, I am concerned. Something is not right. What can this be? Prior to the new tires, I had NO noises at all. Please help me understand what the problem could be so I can have a better understanding as to how to re-approach the tire dealership to have this corrected!!

I'm not sure it's exactly legal to make a back up copy on your PC, as I always end up losing my DVDs. However, is it legal to rip DVDs to your PC? (And when I say DVDs, I mean films, like Star Wars, or James Bond, or Lord of the Rings).

Secondly, one of my friends said he did it, with something called DVD Ripper Wizard, and it worked fine - Except a few chapters came out in different languages and with commentaries. Why is this? Will it happen all the time?

Finally - According to him, he said they can take a LOT of memory. I have a lot, but I don't want my PC with 5 movies, and hardly any other memory left. Is there a way to compress them into smaller files?
