I`ve sent a package to Europe by USPS-with insurance-and they have lost it. It has never arrived(this is an example)

if you call the post office they will look for it after 6 weeks of it being lost. they will then send you a letter telling you you where it went. if they cant find it they will pay you.

if you sent a package and you paid for insurance on it, you will have a receipt and you will just have to go to the post office and they will write out a claim for you if indeed the package was lost
