I always feel stupid when i do.

Create a party with theme.
Invite 6-8 people (guy/ girl mix) with RSVP cards; you can mail or deliver them in person. If you're giving them in person, well flirt a little while you give him the invitation and see if he'll RSVP. Or when he calls, flirt, and get a feel for how he feel for you.
Should he decline, or disregard the invitation ... have friends urge him ... or just relax and enjoy the ensemble of ppl you've got together for fun.
Certainly, flirt away and have tons of fun if he and the others show up. This isn't a pressure "yes/no" situation, and allows you both to slowly enjoy time together without the pressure of "Date".

Well there are a lot of things you can do like ask him to help you in your studies or have him join you at lunch and make suggestion about wanting to go to the movies or something see if he would join in, try flirting with the guy if he has any common seance it will not take Him long to see that you like him and he may be more willing to make a move. Start talking to Him more see what intress he has and ask him if he might like to do them together keep trying new tings till he get's the idea and good luck...

I don't know about other guys, but I'm really attracted to girls who are funny and understanding. So if the guy you want to ask out is anything like me, I'd say get to know his interest a little bit first and mix a joke in when you ask him to a place you know he'll want to go.
