You could have a mild bug....getting sick can cause your period to be late. The rule is usually to panic only after your period is 7-10 days late, in the case that you are normally a regular person.
It is VERY rare to get pregnant after having your tubes tied. Don't worry about it for the time being, and if it lasts another week, see your doctor.
One thing to consider...if you're over 40, you could very well be experiencing pre-menopause....

ya your tubes can b tied but u STILL can get pregnate mine have been tied for 10 years and im 6 months along (its a girl!!!):) ya so some times they do get through sneaky little suckers !!!!! go n see your doc

Bad news, unless tubes are cauterized, they can open and pregnancy can occur. Get a pregnancy test kit.

are you old enough for menopause if not I KNOW A WOMAN WHO GOT PREGNANT even though her tubes were tied, or you could be getting and infection, see your doctor.
