I got a very good deal for some hotels in Cancun, but didnt want to be around a bunch of adolescents getting crazy, but would like to be where i can easily get to one of the main pyramids. I heard that Cancun is on the yucatan penninsula. Is that right?

Yes, when you get to your hotel there will be all kinds of tours available and you'll just pick on for probably like 30 or 40 dollars. They usually take half a day or a full day. I went to Cancun a couple of years ago. I didn't go to see the pyramids but did go to a nearby island. There are plenty of tour operators or you can go it alone like I did and take a ferry to a nearby island or hire a car to take you to the parks with the pyramids.

yes, cancun is on the yucatan penninsula. It is very close to playa del carmen which houses the pyramids of Tulum and Chitchen Itza. These are the main pyramid stands on the penninsula.

Also, for a good time, the island of cozumel is a boat ride of small plane ride away. They both have beaches that can be very quiet and peaceful. The weather is incredible right now too!

the pyrimids are like an hour or 2 away. most higher cost hotels don't allow the noisy teenagers. but you can't climb the pyrimids any more
