This is a question for either medical professionals or the older amongst us in the GLBT community. I do not believe anyone younger than 40 is going to know.

In the 80's before the disease HIV was known, there was a term for the symptoms that we know all too well.

Carposi Sarcoma was amongst the most common symptom remarked upon in it.

It was considered, at that time, to be a solely Gay disease and this term reflected it. This term would have been from the middle 80's. I know HIV and AIDS was used in the late 80's.

I remember something called ARDS being associated with it but that was not the term.

I'm thinking about doing a part time degree course (as a mature student, i'm 25) and am wondering if there is a good all-round degree to do (that is perhaps a bit generic) as I have no idea what I want to do in life as a career. I don't know a lot about degree's etc i'm afraid. Also do you know if a degree from the Open University is considered the same as full time Uni degree) Many thanks.

We're actually planning to leave together after she finishes her studies in her country, then she would move and live and finish her studies and life (whole hopefully :) ) with me.

Now, I know that long distance relationships aren't simple, and often finishes badly.

But we do love each other and I'd like to know whether i should write to her everyday day and call her once or so a week or leave it until I really miss her and then calling her from time to time only...

Thank you for your help :)

I've been an RN for 7 months now, and am working the floor. My plan is to get a year or so of experience out of the way and then move on to something that suits me better. My question is this: do you have any recomendations of what specialty has made your work life fulfilling and enjoyable?

I work in a small office. My boss and colleagues are very nice to me. The problem is, this is not the job I wanted to do. I accepted this job because at the time I was tight on money. When I was interviewed, she asked me what I am seeing myself in the future and I told her about my dream job. She understood that I would moved on to another job and still offered me the job after I assured her that I'd stay for at least 2 yrs before I moving on. On the 2nd day of my current job, I got a phone call from that company that I'd like to work with - which I sadly declined. Now I've been with the company for 6 months and I feel like I cannot grow with this company and get bored with my monotonous work (I really like something challenging for my work). I've been thinking of quiting but I am on moral dilemma because of what I promised my boss. I'm 26 and if I start my dream job - it'll be from the bottom. I feel like I am wasting my time with the current job.

What should I do?

Anything wrong from a nutritional stand-point with drinking fresh squeezed OJ (3 oranges) every morning?

I am currently on a cutting diet and am looking to lose 1-1.5 pounds per week (have to do it nice and slow to not lose muscle)

I'm not concerned with the amount of simple carbs since this is for breakfast and in general one does noty need to worry about carb intake during your morning and post-workout meals

Do you think the papers have told about hammonds accident the wrong way! Saying he was partly to blame is a little unfair don't you think. As for me I would love to blast to 300mph! Although I cant say I'd particularly like to go upside down at that speed esp on the ground!
