I've been an RN for 7 months now, and am working the floor. My plan is to get a year or so of experience out of the way and then move on to something that suits me better. My question is this: do you have any recomendations of what specialty has made your work life fulfilling and enjoyable?

I am a surgical tech and love it ,you have to find your area of specialty ,i worked with geriatrics decided i did not like that tried surgery and fell in love. Have you ever scrubbed a case? something you'll never forget

work outside of the hospitol
find out if they home visit or a friend of mine collects blood at ppls homes she makes apts all morning and has the afternoons off most of the time and because she still works for the hospitol she gets all the benefits
another friend of mine works outside the hospitol too she goes to ppl homes to help take care of open wounds, meds .....
she makes 1500+$$$$ a week
and again it is still with the hospitol

just the thought of helping others espacially the sick and disabled.
