Okay, so i haven't been out for far too long because i am scared of either throwing up or losing bowel control in public.

For a long time i have thought i am agoraphobic..

But i don't get panicky UNLESS i start to feel sick or stomachachy..

And ALL of what i have read about agoraphobia... people avoid things because of a fear of a panic attack..
i avoid things because of a fear of the 2 things i said.

If there was something that could guarentee that i wouldn't vomit/crap myself.. - -- i would be out living a normal life. an agor wouldn't right?

I mean i go for walks, and i don't panic at all...but something holds me back incase it DOES happen.

But in public places i do NEED to get out of there..to a toilet just incase...

so do i have agoraphobia? or is it a separate phobia of the two things i mentioned...?

I am trying to overcome this but there is no point in me getting treatment for agoraphobia if i don't actually have it.

Thoughts?

If my fingers or limbs got severed in the middle of desert and there's no phone or help in sight, what's the best thing for me to do? Is if possible for me to re-attach it myself if I was lonesome castaway? what if basic medical supplies were available? which equipment will I need to use or what do I need? I just saw the movie, "HOSTEL", and I was just imagining what I would do if somebody cut off my fingers and there's nobody I could ask for help.

3O years ago I wrote a childrens story (for my own amusement really).However,for some reason it has travelled with me everywhere since. In which time I have added another three which carry on from the original.
I would really like to know if they are worth trying to get published, but it seems such a long process,and at 6O I don't know if Iv'e got the energy. Friends keep pushing me to do something and as I am now retired and on a pension,they keep saying I should try getting them looked over. Where do I start?any easy ways?

I was at a restaurant the other day, and noticed on the menu that soft drink refills were 50 cents. I don't know if the restaurant actually does that, because neither I nor my mom had a drink. And even if we had, neither of us drinks enough with a meal that we'd need a refill anyway. *chuckle*

My question, though, is I thought most restaurants quit charging for refills? But maybe I'm wrong. All I know is that whenever I go to a chain/franchise type place, like Denny's, Bakers Square, Chili's, Olive Garden, Applebee's, etc., they NEVER charge for soft drink refills.

The restaurant I was at was a "mom and pop" place, so maybe things are different in establishments like that. I dunno. It just seems kind of cheap, in my mind, to charge a diner extra to refill their glass with something that's such an immensely high-profit margin item anyway. (Years ago I used to work in food service, so I know! *grin*)

I was thinking about getting a ferret. I hear that they can be litter trained so you don't have to keep them in their cages all the time. I currently have 2 cats and a dog. All my cats do is sleep and my dog is getting older and she is very gentle so I don't have to worry about problems from them. Do you have a ferret and do you like it? Are they like a ton of work to keep? I would really appreciate the input. Thanks.

it's very obvious to me that he's more into friends than me. he won't admit it and when i bring up evidence he keeps getting mad claiming "you're just assuming everything." today i just had enough. he had to lie to his friend that he was at work OT just to hang out with me before he heads out with his friend. then he was planning to lie to his friend once again just to hang out with me since he doesn't want to sound like a buster "ditching homies for girls." when i got mad he got mad right back. all he does is get mad whenever i bring this issue up. i broke up with him just right now. i don't want to "fight over" who he cares for more anymore b/t me or friends. i let him hang out definitely... just that he has to lie to hang out with me to his friends.

was my decision any good? do you think what i "assume" is true given the info i provided? thanks!
