it's very obvious to me that he's more into friends than me. he won't admit it and when i bring up evidence he keeps getting mad claiming "you're just assuming everything." today i just had enough. he had to lie to his friend that he was at work OT just to hang out with me before he heads out with his friend. then he was planning to lie to his friend once again just to hang out with me since he doesn't want to sound like a buster "ditching homies for girls." when i got mad he got mad right back. all he does is get mad whenever i bring this issue up. i broke up with him just right now. i don't want to "fight over" who he cares for more anymore b/t me or friends. i let him hang out definitely... just that he has to lie to hang out with me to his friends.
was my decision any good? do you think what i "assume" is true given the info i provided? thanks!

no he is deffinatly not good enough for you if he cant even admit to his friends that once in a while he would like to hang with you, i meen come on that isnt too much to ask.

So, wait... you were or weren't in a relationship with this guy? In the beginning, you said it was obvious that he liked you, but now suddenly you were in a relationship with him? That sounds like you were in a romantic relationship with the guy before you even knew he thought of you as more than just a friend!
Well, regardless, it sounds like he has some issues, as you probably do too. It sounds like the relationship was pretty immature to begin with, so yes, it was a good thing to break it off. Take some time to figure out what you really want in a guy, and then find someone who really selflessly cares for you, and go for it! (take your time, though!)

I think it was a good choice to break up with him. Most of the boys are into their friends den their girlfriends becoz my mate is like that. When you bring up evidence he gets mad right> He gets mad because its true but boys doesnt like to with girls. So yes your evidence totally killed him! I don't know why he had to lie to go out with you. There's nothing to be embarrasing about going out with his gurl. I think that boy was a dork.
I hope you find a better boy who actually likes you more then his friends!

Look, people never act the way you want. We are all different. the question you need to be asking is one to yourself. "Do I like to hang with this man?" If the answer is yes, which it probably is, you need to just go with the flow. So what? He lies to his boys to hang with you. The point is, he is choosing to spend it with you. People fight all the time. it is just an awkward display of emotion. My wife died two years ago and we used to fight constantly. Boy i would do anything to have another fight with her.....You may not assume, but you do over annalise. Follow your heart. It will set you free.

YES! you absolutely did the right thing. Why is he lying to his friend that he is working OT rather than just telling him that he is with you. Is he embarassed of you or maybe he isn't ready to be in a realtionship. Either way he is not deserving of you and you need to move on. Maybe then he'll realize what he lost.
You'll find someone that is PROUD to be with you and doesn't care who knows.

It sounds like he's embarrassed to admit to his friends that he spends time with you. Maybe they are jerks about it and make fun of his feelings for you. When you also get mad at him, he gets it from both sides.
But you deserve to have a guy that is proud to be with you, and tells his friends to back-off if they give him crap. You are correct to take a stand.

This guy is obviously way too immature to have a meaningful relationship with a girl. Let him go with his homies, hope they keep his bed warm for him at night. Trust me, there is someone better out there for you, someone who is not ashamed to be seen with you.

Yeah, the lying implied that he was ashamed of hanging out with you and that's ridiculous; especially since he did it to your face.
Look for someone that will say that they are with you and that's exactly who they would want to be with.
He needs to grow up and want a relationship on his own time.
