What can happen when a mother dog gives birth to 4 puppies and one is stuck inside her for 4 days.?

This dog is a Silky Terrior. My sister didnt realize whay had happened for 4 days. The babies were getting smaller. If the babies have to be bottle fed will they have problems as adults.
