I doubt very much that she will be the next president. The Brits may not have seen through Blair until it was far too late, but it looks like the frogs have seen through Royal in time to avert a disaster. She has no policies except "listening", and judging by what the PS are saying she won't get much choice about the agenda if she does get elected; every PS source is saying that it will be pure (old-style) socialism, none of the (very much needed) reform, and certainly not a "new style" of politics, whatever the Royal spin doctors may say. Even her boyfriend can't get the message right, which says a lot about how far anyone should trust what Royal says.
Anyway, now that Alliot-Marie has seen sense and is aiming to be the next prime minister under Sarkozy and now that it's obvious that no-one electable from the right is going to stand against him - and given the number of left-centre and hard-left candidates - I predict a Sarkozy-Le Pen run-off...don't say it couldn't happen, because one more ****-up from the socialists will be enough.

We all can only hope that the French will prefer her to that neo-faschist idiot Sarkozy, if not the US will have another poodle in no time at all.
