Sure - popularity may seem important in high school, but in the grand scheme of things, it counts for very little. You should date who you like and who treats you well, not just who is the most popular boy in school. Good luck!

Not very often. But the popular girls will eventually lose out when the unpopular guys make the big bucks. Not in every case, but then again, Tom Brady is not dating the girls he dated in high school.

Sometime they do and some time they do not. Nothing wrong with dating a unpopular guy, he will probably show you more attention than one that is popular. Popular tend to be all wrapped up in themself, self-centered.

Well, not really. But why would a popular be interested in an unpopular boy in the first place?

It happens all the time. Become her friend, and soon her best friend. My daughter is that popular girl and at the beginning of the year a boy came up to her at the Volleyball game and said, hey, I know you, your in my 1st period class. Very soon after that, he has become her most trusted friend. He is the one she feels she can tell ANYTHING to and she loves him to death! She has started seeing him in a different way because of all the late night talks and now they talk for hours and she vents and he just listens. He means the world to her!!! She is not a stuck up person, she is a freshman that made the Varsity Cheer-leading squad but by no means is she mean. She is a regular girl like everyone else but looks at the whole person not just the outside Usually those popular girls tend to go to many sporting events also. Play a sport or go to watch them.

Why not? If you really like the guy and he is good to you what difference does it make if he is popular or not. Take care Heather

rather a few good friends than be popular with eveyone. i think you are very young and have much to learn. Do you like him or do you care more for what others think. What does it matter what they think, do all these people really care about you and why do you need their approval, be your own person make your own decision not based on what others will like or not like.

Yeah! My thing is if u like him and u wanna go wit him go for it! Don't alwayz try to impress ya friends! And if u don't go wit him because he is not popular it could come back around to u and i grantee u don't want that!

of course cause eventually we grow up and being popular isnt what life is, some of us get fat and some loose weight some who used to be hot are ugly. life goes on.
