which is fastest? i think the top athletes in each sport can surpass 100MPH. is it coincidence that they reach a similar speed? wouldn't a racket or stick give more leverage to increase the speed?

I remember when I was a kid, every adult in my life telling me to be patient, but now that I'm older - they are more impatient than Anyone I know!
When I go with my Nan To the drop off something, dry cleaning we'll say- she'll ask how long? when they tell her .. 4 days she'll insist she needs it in 2. even though she won't wear it!

My mom is SO vocal when we wait in line and the person in from of us can't find thier ID- " Ooh. god- why don;t they upen up another line??"

anyone else notice this?

i am a writer. well, not officially or famous or nothing like that but i can write various things that are very well. i want to be better as a writer. i'm not talking about how to flow a story or anything like that i just want to know of a good website where i can learn various things like proper use of commas and puncuation. and how to use ( ), [ ], { } brackets efficiently. like when i'm writing a script, what bracket do i use to tell the reader it is a change in setting or what not.

If a girlfriend who dumped you is playing games but you are not 100 percent sure of it. Meaning, you think there is a chance of getting back together but you don't want to seem desperate and walked on, is it okay to answer her phone calls?

She keeps calling me, and I always call back or sometimes answer to see what she wants. I never call her. I have been told to have some class and not play games with people. But am I losing in the long run? I am moving on but I don't know why she keeps calling me? She calls me every few days but nothing comes of it so I don't worry about it and move on. But does it look like to her that she has me on the hook? I don't call her though. I believe she has to want to meet with me, I'm done asking. I just wanted your opinions. By the way, I am moving on so I just wanted to know how it looks to her if I don't call but return her calls. Is it a big deal?

I had an evening class tonight and about 5 minutes before I get up, I notice my lower back felt kind of funny, but I didn't think anything of it. But right as I was getting up to leave, suddenly I couldn't move or get up, my back was in such excruciating pain. How I willed myself to the car seemed a miracle in itself. I can barely move... my lower back just is completely out once I tried getting up from my chair. Does anyone know what caused this? A muscle spasm? Pinched nerve? I can barely move. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am not talking about a Utopia .I am thinking of a perfect Egyptian city that has all the good qualities of Egyptian life that we love in addition to all the things that we love in Western cities; wide streets, cleanliness. Let's imagine this: You have an unlimited area of land , an endless amount of money and complete freedom to apply whatever system you wish. What things do you want to have ? For example; Places of worship for the three religions ? No places of worship ? And for the infrastructure ; multiple-storey building? or houses and villas ? Should it have a prison? Should the houses by similar or different? Should cars be allowed in this city ?Or just bikes ? Or carts ? As for the system, do u want it to be free of all kinds of descrimination; i.e complete freedom?

Let's brainstorm.

I once loved someone dearly, i may say with all my heart. I did everything for him, endured a lot of circumstances, i was even severely nad pitilessly beaten yet i endured everything because i loved him dearly, and we are now separated and he got married short after our separation, i even see him with his wife, i forgave him whole-heartedly but i don`t know what i`m feeling, it`s as though love meant another thing for me...i feel completely devasted in the inside, i even have no tears to cry,even if i don`t cry on the inside my heart is crying every second, i`m not angry nor frustrated, it`s as though i have a sadness which is like a poison and is killing me slowly daily....

Hubby had all his Hang-gliding gear out for today, SHAME, checked the wind yesterday and said it would be fine. Only to find the place covered in snow. Looks absolutely beautiful but had to cancel flying. Poor guy, has not been out there for weeks. Anyone else here do Hang-gliding ?? Going out later to enjoy the snow , i know my dogs are going to love it, they eat it like it is going out of fashion. Enjoy your day and dress warmly [ mother in me ].
