Hello,
I am trying to find an Italian restaurant in SF for a party of 17 people. I'd like to do something a little nicer than Buca di Beppo. Does anybody have a recommendation? Thanks so much.

I hear that The Stinking Rose in North Beach (San Francisco). But if you don't like the look of that restaurant, pretty much any restaurant in North Beach is good for Italian food.

Recently went to a engagement party at Mangarossa (15 people). It's italian and brazilian. Wow! Fun, great food and service.

FIor D'Italia, Puccini & Pinetti, Kuleto's, North Beach Restaurant, Il Fornaio, Palio D'Asti, Rose Pistola, are all excellent, vary in price, but you can find them all at opentable.com or at their own websites.

Not italian, but 100% you will impress your guest in the FOREST CAFE, by fisherman pier 39..fantastick..you can chose to spend for person diner from 8.95 to 48.95.
Great food, but you have to go check it out...is not the food which makes it great...(Forest*****!!!!)>wild100%..OK for any member of a family...

i'm not sure for a party that large, but i know a place NOT to go. don't go any where near the pier for a large party like that.
