If a girlfriend who dumped you is playing games but you are not 100 percent sure of it. Meaning, you think there is a chance of getting back together but you don't want to seem desperate and walked on, is it okay to answer her phone calls?
She keeps calling me, and I always call back or sometimes answer to see what she wants. I never call her. I have been told to have some class and not play games with people. But am I losing in the long run? I am moving on but I don't know why she keeps calling me? She calls me every few days but nothing comes of it so I don't worry about it and move on. But does it look like to her that she has me on the hook? I don't call her though. I believe she has to want to meet with me, I'm done asking. I just wanted your opinions. By the way, I am moving on so I just wanted to know how it looks to her if I don't call but return her calls. Is it a big deal?

Maybe she doesn't have an ulterior motive and just wants to be friends. Maybe she really did enjoy your company and doesn't want to drift apart.
You're the best judge of the situation because you know how manipulative/mean/evil she is.
If you think she is capable of jerking you around, then just be aloof. Play it cool, don't always call her back, and find more people to hang out with.
If she's a nice person then talk to her about it. Make it clear you have moved on and just want to clear the air to make sure you're both on the same page.

by always returning her calls she will think your still interested. Normally when you know for sure your done thats it you move on and you could care less if she calls you. and you don't normally respond back that way she gets the hint.
If she mis treated you before as you said up above and that you dont' want to be walked on. Keep walking.

It sounds that you are not all that ready to ready move on, if you always answer when she calls. To truely move on, you need to force yourself not to answer her calls, see her in public, not any contact with her as possible, unless an occasional "Hello" while passing on the street.
Tell her strongly about your want to move on, sometimes you have to be mean and actually hurt someone a lot enough to break their heart if it means they will let go of you, from the last relationship I had. Otherwise, it can be destructive for both of you to be in that kind of relationship, if you don't feel the same for her as she does for you.

desperate and pathetic of actions spoken of what she'll think??? your doing that right now and you don't even see it.... stop answering her phone calls and make the decision that your self respect is worth far more then her games and the hold she has over you, you tell her to stop calling and if she keeps it up then you change your number :) :) :)

Trust me she is probably more than aware of how much you probably like her and want to get back together with her. Therefore it is safe to assume she is doing that just to screw with you or keep you hanging on long enough for her to get another boyfriend.

stop calling back...right now she knows she can get you to call back and because you do, she thinks you care about her.
You're making a good decision on deciding to move on, next time she calls ignore the call and dont call back and it will make her nuts

hard to say what she wants, maybe she just wants to see if you will still jump when she calls. maybe she wants you back. if you dont call her back shes going to get the message eventually that you dont want her. i dont know why people cant be honest and nothing else. games are just so stupid.

Stop taking her calls. If she thought she lost you, she'd be crying to her girlfriends. If you take her back, she'll be playing these games everytime she feels slighted by you.

all what u have to do is to ask her what her intention is to u, look into the cause of the break up between both of u then analse it after that u can then her for intention to u, her response will tell u what she taught of u. don't be arrogant to her when asking.
