Hi, everyone, I am thining of a song that I have only heard once or twice, and the only lyrics I can remember are "And we will always be/ Together, you and me." I'm about 5'6 and a little over 140 pounds. I'm a girl. I know I've gained a lot of weight since I returned to America. I've had a whole bunch of chocolates today.

When I was in Jerusalem, Palestine, I use to always walk everyday - to school, to the store, to throw out the garbage, but here I can never do that because it's not safe (kidnapping, raping, etc)... And, over there I use to always run and play outside till it was dark. And, ride my bike!!!!! and, you might think about the war there, yes, but it's still way way way safer than here.

I want to lose weight but it's hard for me to do that when I'm in school and studying! I plan to lose (10-15 pounds) during the summer,,, I know it wil be hard but I will try!

I also feel like I'm really fat(er) ... My hips are huge and my thighs have gotten larger!

Now, it also said, he "knew his wife" and she conceived and had Enoch. Where in the heck did Cain's wife come from if Adam and Eve were the only ones there besides the recently deceased Abel? Was Eve Cain's mother and wife? So, that would make Eve his mom and wife and Enoch, her grandson and son at the same time. Can you please explain this to me? I asked the Catholic nun this once, and was banished from morning mass thereafter. No one seems to have a clear cut answer.
So, why was incest condoned then, but not now? Why didn't God just take more ribs out of Cain and Abel (to create their mates, like Adam), that would have been easier.
Has anyone ever pondered this as well? And, why did Genesis 1:27 did God create Male and Female, and then in Gen. 2:22 again, create woman out of man's ribs. That's two women. One out of dust (Lillith) and the other more submissive woman: Eve, from the rib of Adam. Anyone wonder why you never learned this in Sunday School?

okay, I know that it is proper to use the terms " Asian American, African American, Native American".. Ect.

and I am not asking this question to be mean, nasty or racist-
I am just wondering if in general there words have a negative association.
My family is from the south, and while we are not racist- I think my older relatives might use words that are a little.. "dated." like,.. "colored", "Oriental" ( I though oriental was a negative term but I've seen resturants that advertise Oriental food- So I'm not sure. "china man" "Arabian" "Native people" ( refering to native americans) Latin, and Jew.


* so, again, I AM NOT ASKING THIS TO UPSET ANYONE - I just want to make sure my relatives are using terms that are not hurtful to anynone.***
