I am sickened by the recent revelation a child has been held captive by an adult obviously sick. How is it that these monsters can come into the schools and even into the children’s bedrooms at night at steal and kill our children and the laws are allowing them to do so.
Most Child Sex offenders have already been in the courts and rehabilitated and released back into society. How can we protect or children if the government will not do their parts?
Charles Mason is held in prison because he is a “danger to society”. How can they in good conscience hold him and let these monsters roam the streets and live in our backyards?
I am now off the “Soap Box if someone wants to step up on it”

Why do people hate white people who 'act black' or black people that 'act white'

If a white person loves hip hop and the lifestyle, why are they called wiggers. If a black person likes rock or DOESN'T like hip hop, reggae, etc why are they called coconuts (brown on outside, white on the inside)

I don't understand why you have to like what your own race like and get abused if you like something or a lifestyle from another culture.

with the new UN report stated over 34,000 civilian iraqi deaths, who else does bush blame except for terrorists. what a big surprise. the best scapegoat ever to come along...if all else fails, blame the terrorists, or possibly blame clinton. however, shouldnt bush look in the mirror to find who really is to blame? maybe terrorists did kill everybody. however, it was bush to started this civil war and sent that country into chaos. there is absolutely, possitively no way 34,000 civilians would have died if we had not invaded. so shouldnt the blame be put on our administration, instead of everybody else?

During the Clinton administration, he imposed a RIF (reduction in force).

He cut thousands of military members who wanted to continue their careers. Due to these cuts, many of the jobs that were being done by the military members were contracted to commercial companies.

Also, a project started by the Clinton administration was the selling of military housing to the general public. There is a housing area in the Pacific Northwest that was military housing and began being sold to the general public in 1998 (it is completely sold off now), forcing military members and their family to search for their own housing in a critical housing area (meaning high cost housng).

Is this an example of how the Liberals "Support Our Troops"?

I asked a hypothetical question on what you would do if your spouse were to be diagnosed as HIV+. I got several good answers; but a number of them assumed, mistakenly, that I was the HIV affected party.

This shows that we are a little too hasty in answering the question. So also in everyday life. Our words and actions are often uttered and performed in haste, and this gives rise to unnecessary and avoidable misunderstandings.

So the next time we get the urge to submit an answer, we must pause a little, reconsider the question, and only then proceed with the answer. If you agree, raise your hand.

I blush really often without any apparent reason. A couple of years ago I hated this in me, which nearly turned me into a recluse, because I was even afraid to go to the shop and buy something! Now thank God I am back on track, socially active, optimistic and an open person. I still do blush, but I am gradually learning to like this feature in me... People do tease me occasionally about it, but i guess they don't mean anything bad and don't consider me being a weirdo? I had boyfriends in the past, but I am single at the mo. I was just wondering how do guys react on a girl who blushes?:)

I really like the mauser c96 (broomhandle pistol) and am trying to acquire one but as far as I've seen the authentics go for at least $1200 and that is too much for a weapon that I wouldn't be able to fire aka a display piece. So, I was wondering if any companies make authentic, fireable reproductions of the c96. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I use a ventless propane heater to heat my garage. The hose to the propane tank is only 4 feet long so I have to keep the heater near the garage door in order to keep the tank outside. I would like to move the heater around the garage but I am concerned that it may be dangerous. What exactly is the danger?

My friends and I want to go on a girlie holiday for a week in June, it'll probably be the last time before we all start settling down!

We want a beach holiday where we can relax and maybe have a couple of activities we could do, don't want the getting hammered everyday and club scene, but wouldn't mind a few bars and clubbing a couple of times during the week.

Our budget is about £400 each.

Also, what kind of accomodation would you recommend? Hotel, villa, apartment etc

PS: we are from the UK

I really like this guy and I find myself looking forward to seeing him, only frequently he doesn't make it, and the disappointment is harder to handle than just not seeing him at all. I don't think he likes me that way anyhow, but I can't help hoping. How can I find out for sure?
