I really like this guy and I find myself looking forward to seeing him, only frequently he doesn't make it, and the disappointment is harder to handle than just not seeing him at all. I don't think he likes me that way anyhow, but I can't help hoping. How can I find out for sure?

some days he's really flirty and full of compliments and others he barely speaks to me, I'm not sure if the flirting is just part of his personality, but I haven't seen him do it with anyone else.

AND he acts jealous when I mention other guys, asking who they are, etc.

He's probably trying to figure out how much you like him by how long you put up with his act. Be open and honest with him, and see how he takes it. The worst that can happen is you will get rejected, and you can always find someone new. One person is not the end of the world.

I play girls like this a lot. He knows.
Put up with it or leave. He wins either way.
If you can take it, you win too. Really. Just see it for a game. When a drill instructor curses at a recruit, spittles all over him and is yelling at him in an insulting, demeaning manner, does he really mean it? No. Just testing the guy, making him stronger. A guy who is inconsistent is usually that way for a reason. And he wants you in one way or another. Trust me, I don't even GET how girls can be friends and not want the other person on some level. If you get that, and can EXPLAIN it, e-mail me PLEASE. I'd love to know. Anyway, if you realize he's doing it for a reason it shouldn't be as discouraging in theory. Good luck.

WOw I used to have that happen to me all the time. He's either a flirty type of guy and his flirts mean nothing or he's a player and he has many girls (just because you don't see them doesn't mean there is none.). I just say you should stand up for yourself when he dissappoints you. And don't think about him that much. Because Flirting really doesn't mean he likes you. Dating is like a game nowadays.

You may have bigger feelings for him than he has for you. Talk to him and find out what he thinks of you. Be prepared for anything, because he could really like you and not know how to express himself, or there is a reason which you may not like at all. Good luck.

he likes you that is why he is flirting with you. I think that to find out for sure tell him to meet you somewhere and if he is not on time then he looses any chance at knowing. first you have to come up with a secret to tell him. You have to trust him to do this.

Hard to say,who knows what is going on in his head?
I would say your best bet is to be honest with him........just ask him where he stands. That way you will know for sure if he is interested, and if he is, than hopefully it all works out well for you two.....................and if not, well, at least you'll know you have to stop hoping and move on. The best of luck to you ;)

i think he is starting to know u, so him flirting with u is a way for him to know if u r interested. what u have to do is to flirt back then he will make a move and probably be serious about it.

If he's not meeting you when he says he's going to, there is something wrong. Whatever your thinking is wrong, your probably right. Have a talk with him, if he does not stop, then it's time to find someone else.

if u think this guy dont like u that way, why touchier urself. play it cool, if he thinks uv tired of his games and uv lost interest he will soon change his ways towards u. guys hate having there ego burst. if things dont change then move on to someone who will appreciate u.
