I got a 10 wk old blue fawn full bred pit about 3 weeks ago after begging my wife for 2 years to let me. She is a great puppy but she has a problem with nipping. She nipped my 2 kids and wife on her feet. I know that my wife is thinking "A pitbull bit my kids" and now she is ready to get rid of her. I have tried to explain to her that it is normal puppy behavior but she is not hearing me. She thinks that she is going to attack our kids because she is a pitbull. She says "We have 2 other dogs that never bit anyone, why did she?" Over the time i have had her got relatively close with her and I dont want to get rid of her. I dont know which one of us is over reacting.

how can u love yourself when anyone doesn't think you are attractive, worthy, or have anythin to offer? I come to hate myself, my life and I blame God because he is the one got me here and lookin the way I do. I earlier asked a similar question, but wanted to clarify. I am 45 years old with a son who is 11 living at home. My son was abandoned by his father 3 years ago and he has not seen or heard from him since (nor have I, hence the divorce). I have older daughters who live on their own.
I work a full-time + job and am limited with the amount of time I have to meet men. I just want to try to concentrate my efforts in a place that might be the most fruitful without going to bars.
I also belong to a church with an older population, so that really isn't an option either. I am an independent woman, so I am not looking for someone who is trying to find a mother for themselves or someone to support them. I prefer someone who is equally independent and would like to go to a movie occasionally or to dinner, and who won't exclude my son.

Where are good places for people like me to look for a companion (or more)?
