I'm 15. Listen to the whole song, the beginning isn't too good. Should I keep pursueing in singing? Should I get a private teacher? Do you think I have talent?

I think you have talent but that song wasn't the best choice for showing off your vocals. Jordan Pruitt has a unique voice and is hard to imitate. I do think you should keep pursuing singing and maybe get a teacher to take yourself further.

You sounded pretty good to me. You stayed in pitch (with a recording?), and your voice didn't quaver. Your voice is a bit breathy, but that may be the effect you want. You had some dynamics, but could use a bit more.

All in all, quite good for a fledging singer!

Search carefully for a private teacher, if you do take lessons. Let them listen to this audio, and see if their teaching style will fit with the music you intend to sing. I spent a lot of money on an incompatable teacher, so I have been there.

If you enjoy singing, definitely do pursue it. Get involved with musicals at school, and maybe choir or chorus. You can learn a lot without lessons.

Do you have talent? I don't know. You definitely have potential. Whether you can transform that into being a star singer depends on how much time you can dedicate to practice.

Good luck.

I think you have a nice voice. If you could afford a private teacher that would be great. With the correct coaching and motivation you could do really well. Yes you have raw talent that needs just a little molding. You have a nice voice, the teaching will help you learn how to control it. Good luck sweetie if singing is the career you choose to pursue.

You've got a good sound! I think you could end up singing jazz quite well, even.

You'd certainly benefit from having a private teacher to help you develop your voice and steer you away from any habits of singing that stress it.

At least -- maybe first of all -- you should take advantage of any local opportunities to join a chorus at your school or in your community. (And don't worry that it's too late to get into a group for this term - a lot of groups are just getting started now after the Christmas break!)

You have a very nice voice! I think you should definitely continue singing. I would recommend getting a voice teacher to help you mature your voice and train it a little more. A good vocal coach can help you strengthen your voice, show you how to get more volume, help you have better tone, and stay on pitch during the difficult parts. Some can even help you with your stage presence for live performances. Keep it up! You have lots of natural talent and with the help of a voice teacher, I think you could really have a dynamic voice in the near future!

You have the ability with training to be a decent singer. As a musician, you are close to hitting the notes, but sometimes you miss the key a little sharp or a little flat. Overall, it was very good for no training.......which would be great for impressing people at karaoke, but there is much more involved to being a star. Most people can be close.......it's the lower percentile of people who can be right on and mix that with salesmanship, marketability, and demand to make a star. GOOD LUCK if you do decide to get professional training.

It sounded very good. I would normally tell you that the instruments needed to be heard better, but your voice overriding the instruments allowed us to hear the real you even better. I would continue to pursue the singing carrier if I was you. Good Luck

You have a nice basic talent, sweetie, but it needs to be refined. I think singing lessons will improve your voice and technique immensely, and would be a good investment for you.

With the proper training, practice, and dedication, I think you can have something going for you there! Good luck, sweetheart!
