A few days ago I had a terrifying experience. I dreamed that I was looking at a computer screen and came across a freaky website. I felt that there was a presence behind me but no one was there. It didn't mean to frighten me but I was a little afraid. I soon found myself being "attacked." I felt a sharp pain on my neck that felt so real. Then I felt as if something was trying to push me out of my body. It felt like forced astral projection. I used all my willpower to bring myself back into my body. This happened twice. Then I woke up feeling a little intimidated and afraid. Over the next few days nothing happened.

I don't dress very feminine at all, I'm a jeans and jacket type of girl. My boyfriend has asked me though to dress more feminine and I would like to surprise him. So how could I do that?
I'm not in the best shape though, I'm rather tall so it does balance out thank goodness.
I'm not comfortable with showing too much skin as well.

I need some advice badly, I've had a job that I hated for the last 2 years, I finally found another job with great benefits but low pay and I don't like the job. I thought I was having new job jitters but after 2 weeks I definitely *do not* like it. I am sick of not being paid enough, and not liking what I do, to the point that I dread waking up in the a.m. I can't seem to find something I like, and I hate to be job hopping. I do know I am sick of customer service, I would like to have a job with minimal customer contact---kind of behind the scenes work. I may consider going back to school---I can't seem to get decent wages. I do know that I will probably quit this new jo b, I won't spend another minute working at a job I dislike, I just can't do it anymore. I need some advice, I'm a 42 yr old single mom and I am going nowhere and the clock is ticking!!

A 9 year old boy came from a different country to stay at our house along with his mom. At first, things went smoothly and he seemed like a good kid. Over time, he began bothering the heck out of me. He's unbelievably obnoxious and immature. I have a younger cousin the same age as him, but my cousin tends to act more respectful and mature. He has to be told over and over to behave. And if that doesn't work, I make a deal with him or be stern until he actually listens. A little kid makes life a great deal fustrating and hard. Sometimes, he says some of the most disrespectful things to an elder, such as, "What is your dream? You probably don't have a dream because you're so lazy." Look who's talking... I find it so annoying when he says to my dad, "My dad cooks better than you. I like my dad's cooking better." Well, personally, I prefer my dad's cooking than anyone else's anyday. I don't know what to do about it. There's so many things that bugs me about him. What would you do?

Do you rate them according to whether you agree or disagree with them, or whether they answered the question well or not?

If you give someone a bad rating because you simply disagree, why?

So,as someone suggested on my valentine's thread,I'm getting a hotel room for Valentine's for me and husbandperson. Lingerie,a great movie we both enjoy, dinner at one of his favorite places, rose petals... whole nine yards.

My problem being, this hotel doesn't allow candles and it doesn't have 'low light' capabilities. Are there any plug or battery operated candles that would work just as well that don't look.. absolutely garish? More exceptional love if there's links included. I'd appreciate this so much. =)

I see Liberals as the biggest threat to my rights. Why? They try to tell me what I should drive, never bothering to find out if I might - work with me here - actually NEED a big truck. We own a small farm - farms need trucks. We have a tractor, too. Is that bad?

They tell us not to hunt. I don't personally hunt, but I reap the benefits from having many friends and family members who do. Our freezer always has moose in it. Sometimes sheep and caribou, too. So what if the hunter takes a trophy? The meat gets eaten. Only a moron wastes good meat. Besides, game is much, much healthier. Our beef supply is full of hormones and antibiotics. Have at it - but I'll keep my moose, thanks.

They tell us where to smoke. I'm an ex-smoker and I really hate the smell of cigarettes. But - they ARE legal and people who smoke DO have rights, too. Hell, they won't even leave it up to a business owner to decide if he/she wants to allow smoking - what about THEIR rights?

They tell us not to trap, oror wear fur. Well, too bad. Most people I know who trap, trap for the money. It's been a way of life here LONG before you or I came along. It's a cultural tradition here, going straight back to the Natives. Fur is not only a renewable resource, it's non-toxic and does not pollute the environment. How much pollution is put into our environment by all these fancy, high-tech materials?

They say we shouldn't log. Forest management is a necessity - just look at how awful the fires in California have been. Mother Nature has always used fire as a way to keep the forest healthy - we can either do it ourselves, and not have such horrible fires, or she'll take care of it. Instead of wasting all that wood AND polluting the environment with all that smoke, why shouldn't someone make a living off of it?

Liberal teachers say they don't have time to raise our kids - and they're right, they don't. So why are so many children being taught liberal propaganda? A little boy on my husband's side of the family was riding along with his grandmother a couple of years ago. They passed a man cutting down a dead, rotten tree, and the poor kid burst into tears. Gran asked him what was wrong, and he replied, "That man is cutting down that tree! We're all going to die!" Where did he learn that? SCHOOL.

My nephew lives in a very small town and is growing up in a very typical small-town Alaska manner. He hunts, fishes, and traps. When he was six, his parents had to go down to the school - some liberal moron was lecturing this kid because he likes to hunt and trap. Gee, you're right - it would be *so* much better if he just sat in front of a television every night, lost for hours in a video game.

My best friend pulls her sons out of school each fall to go moose hunting with their father. She had to go to THEIR elementary school more than once to tell a liberal teacher to mind their own damned business - the boys were given a bad time because they hunt. That's total BS.

Liberals only support freedom of speech if it is speech they agree with. Just look at how poorly INVITED Conservative speakers are treated on colleges all across the country. Hell, I'm a right-leaning Libertarian who works for a university - diversity my ***. I know of 5 other right-leaning employees - and I've worked in 6 different departments. And trust me - politics always comes up.

We didn't decorate for "the holidays" last year, or hold our annual "holiday" party. (We're not allowed to call it Christmas. Damn - what's that about freedom of speech? Or religion? Hmmm.) Why didn't we? A far-left nut job professor had a screaming fit at her admin the year before. Why? Because I actually had the nerve to put an ornamant on the "holiday" tree that said (this would be a good time to get the children out of the room) "Merry Christmas". Yep, that's right - the "C" word. Right out there for all to see. This hag THREW the ornament at her admin, screaming (we could hear it down the hall) "THIS HAS NO PLACE ON A UNIVERSITY CAMPUS!" Really? So, I guess that diversity thing only applies to non-Christians?

Look what the ACLU did for NY schools. It's perfectly okay to display the Jewish Menorah, or the Muslim Star and Crescent - RELIGIOUS SYMBOLS - in public schools, but don't you dare have a Nativity scene.

WHO'S trampling on our rights?!?

Hypocrisy, thy name is liberal....

The representive of the country are to be dynamic, energic and educated, they have to move around to find out the problems in the particular area, so that the development in the particular area leads to development of the country. There are lot areas in the country where the politicians not even bothered to have a glance, how you will expect that the country going to develop due to allowing the candidates irrespective of their age.
