The movie you are thinking of is, "Kill Me Again," which starred:
Michael Madsen as Vince Miller. Joanne Whalley as Fay Forrester (at that time she was married to Val Kilmer and went by Joanne Whalley-Kilmer) and Val Kilmer as Jack Andrews. Madsen plays the psycho, Elvis look-a-like ex-boyfriend of Whalley-Kilmer's character. Hope this helps.
