So,as someone suggested on my valentine's thread,I'm getting a hotel room for Valentine's for me and husbandperson. Lingerie,a great movie we both enjoy, dinner at one of his favorite places, rose petals... whole nine yards.

My problem being, this hotel doesn't allow candles and it doesn't have 'low light' capabilities. Are there any plug or battery operated candles that would work just as well that don't look.. absolutely garish? More exceptional love if there's links included. I'd appreciate this so much. =)

Okay,a little confusion. =)

The problem being, whatever I use can't produce smoke. Non-smoking room (neither of us can breathe in a smoking room) and I -did- ask if they'd make an exception (of course it was the no I was expecting =) )

Sorry. ^^ I should've included that in the original question.

I've seen battery operated candles at Bed Bath & beyond. They look a little cheesy, but the'd do the job. Don't be too sad about the candles. After we got married, when we got to the room, there were 116 tealight candles lit all over the room. And it was HOT in there!

sure. It takes practice, yet visualization is continuously a good change for something. see you later as you are able to call a good, sparkling image (sparkling as in comprehensible), which will artwork. Visualize the flame, and per chance visualize it being a particular coloration if the candle you would usually use ought to have a particular coloration. the skill of visualization is a magnificent aspect--i'm conversing from the information of an artwork-freak, yet nonetheless. good success and advantages be!

Girl, I don't know what a candle substitute is, but you should check into the hotel, get the key card, and then drop it off at your husband's office in an envelope with a note saying, "meet me here in an hour!"
(Lots of fun!).

I've seen fake candles that use batteries and have a fire shaped light bulb. Usually see them around Christmas time. Or you could go for a strobe light, disco ball, and lava lamp theme.

As you dont mention where you are I cant give you a location near you that you could purchase the "electric candles" that are available.

The below site should start you off in the right direction and give you an idea of the types available :-)

You could buy a plug in light and find a heart cover to go over it so ts not so bright. You could maybe bring in like heart lights like christmas light but heart ones or red and white and put them on the floor or behind the furniture so its not so bright.

How the hell is the hotel going to know if you use candles? I would think that if you're responsible enough to get a hotel room, and "the whole nine yards", you woul dbe responsible enough to blow the canldes out when you're finished. So again, how is the hotel going to know?

Cover the lights with colred paper or plastic. Just use some tape. Make sure the light wont catch anything on fire.

Who cares what they allow. Light the candles and just make sure you don't burn down the building at night.

Just take the candles in your night bag...how are they gonna know? They're not gonna be in your room with you are they??!
