Dont worry so much, everyone goes through this and you will be okay... I think you may notice that you have mosture in your pants before the blood is visible or soaks through, if you feel wet or slick down there just go check as soon as it is possible. You can just be sure to have a napkin with you or if not just wipe with toilet paper and fold some up to place in your panties until you can get one. If you feel unusual symptoms, such as moodiness, breast tenderness or slight cramping it may indicate that you will soon begin menstrating. If you want to eliminate the worry, just use a pantyliner, these can be worn undetected under clothing and should help end some worry... you will do fine and soon it will become very predictable and no big deal...if you are still concerned ask a school nurse or a family doctor, they can help you prepare.

1. It is a good idea to keep some pads or tampons in your bad just for precautions because then you won't have to ask for any. Also periods usually start off quite light, so if the teacher took a while to let you go to the bathroom then it probably wouldn't matter too much. Male teachers have girlfriends, wives etc so they would understand. Just ask them you need to go to the toilet for a girly emergancy, they will sure let you go :P
2. To be honest I think 80% of girls on their first period it came as a bit of a shock. All you can do is deal with it when it happens and make sure you have "supplies". It will become easier as you learn to predict when it will come. Sometimes you will feel a bit unwell or even have cramps which might tell you it could be coming. I like the idea of using panty liners, I wish I had thought of that!
3. After a while you will notice a patturn, you might feel a little dizzy or tired. Some people have cramps just before their periods and others get emotional or have mood swings. I had a few accidents with my first periods, but people are understanding and you will soon be a pro at predicting when they will come.

Hey Hun!
Wow have I been there. But don't worry! Your period really is not big deal and never has to be made public if you don't want it to be! You probably are going to get it very soon, but not to be concerned i got boobs and still didn't get my first one for a while after... anyways what to do in situation!
The fortunate thing is it usually starts, especially your first one very lite! So is not like you will become a volcano within seconds!
Situation 1: Approach your teacher and simply ask to go to the restroom. If they tell you "No" Then say with a concerned expression, "No, I really have to go!" Any leave. No teacher, by law can deny anyone the right to go to the bathroom. If that does not work, tell them you must go to the nurse because you have a migraine! That will work. I know guy teachers can be hard to understand the woman world.
Situation 2: Luckily in the beginning you period is lite, but it will become more intense and i have had accidents. I recommend wearing darker colors during your period, which makes it really really unnoticeable. Bring an extra pair of underwear and pants in your locker. I also love the carefree feminine wipes! They make me feel really clean down there if i am having a bad day. Also this may sound weird, but unless i am super super lite i always use the super tampons. Tampons are definitely the way to go, but they still leak, so the super are your best bets for the least leak.
But if all else fails and you do catch yourself leaking! Use the jacket around the wait technique and call home to get new clothes or change. It does suck!
Sit. 3: Periods generally start out light like brown discharge (thick) then it becomes a lighter redder blood like fluid (eww!) At this stage most girls can just feel it in their lower tummy. It is cramps... kinda like a sustained ache and soreness down there. When i am bleeding heavily, the cramps intensify. I am sure you fill feel something out of the ordinary, but again unless it is super lite i just put a super tampon in and am done with worrying for a few hours.

My advice to you overall is that when u start your period. Start documenting the day it starts every month on a calendar. then once u have done it for a couple of months count the average amount of days that it takes for you to start on your period. it should be around 24-30 days... that way you can count ahead and start expecting around what day it'll come. Always bring pads/tampons in your backpack around these days so u can change them oftern because you usually want to change them often for hygiene purposes.
1. If you do discover that you have had your period during class, you should just ask your teachers to let you go to the girl's room because you are experiencing a girly event. Usually guys don't want to hear it straight out. I'm sure they'll understand.
2. If you do get your period in public... yea it probably will be embarrassing (cuz it has happened to me)... but most people will understand. Sometimes I'd bring an extra pair of undies or pants. Since you are 12, im sure you guys get hour breaks so just make sure u check often and wear dark pants during the days u get your period like jeans, (jeans usually take longer to stain through and it usually hides small stains better in my opinion) but i think you'd notice before it stains through cuz you'll feel some wetness if your pad or tampon is needed to be changed. what i do is i use a tampon and a thin pad... but since u are 12... i suggest you just start with a regular sized pad. Different people have different intensities of flow. some are really heavy and some flow is very light.
3. You know by documenting the day it comes for a couple of months and you'll get an average that is pretty consistant if you lead a normal life. factors like stress may delay it by a few days or it may even skip a month depending on your lifestyle. some signs when ppl are about to get it are cramps or fatique or change in mood (more commonly known as PMS) you just have to wait til it does come and see what symptoms you experience.

Hello
When my daughter (she's almost 14) was going through what you are, I bought her some pantyliners (ask your parents to get you some) so that way, if her period did start then she'd have at least some protection. Have your parents get you some regular pads so you can carry one or two in your backpack or purse. Discuss what you have asked regarding your two male teachers to a female teacher or your mom/dad. Perhaps they can talk to the male teachers about letting people go to the washroom when they need to.
Recently she bled through a pair of her jeans and luckily, she had a sweatshirt that she tied around her waist for the rest of the day.
I don't know what to say about #3. I forget- but I see that 'here 2 help' has solved that one!
Good luck!

Ok I can help u with these questions.
1: Tell them quietly that it's that time of the month.
2: Run like hell to the washrooms. Or cover it up with a sweatshirt.
3: U will, U will have white discharge in ur underwear. When u see that u shuld put a pad on to protect u when u actually get ur period and then u'll be prepared.

Every female has had these questions and we all got through it.
With the male teachers, just tell them that you have a female need to take care of. They have wives, girlfriends etc. They will understand.
If it happens in public? Well, not much you can do. Just try to prepare. Wear panty liners and carry a pad in your purse so if it starts you have something to put on right away.
Some people have signs some don't. But you know how your underwear felt when you put them on, you will know if you start to get icky. If you start to feel like you stomach is hurting differently or you get a headache start paying attention, it may be time.

er..u really seem that u are really scared but there really is nothing to worry about.it doesn't mean tt when ur boobs are growing bigger u will get ur period its not true you will only get it when ur body thinks its time....
ans to 1:just tell him that u really need to use it.but if they don't let you go just say u have stomachache and that its really aching that u needa use the toilet.
ans to 2:the solution is simple just use a bag to cover ur skirt/pants and walk as quickly as u can to the toilet.Normally ppl will only notice that u are in a hurry and hardly look at your pants.or if u are with a group of ppl,ask them to stand behind u and form a 'wall' behind u'...only ur friends will notice.
ans to 3:when u have ur period thie first thing is a sudden gush that u can feel.but there are symptons like lesser discharge compared to normal days
just relax u'll learn after a few times.
