I'm thinking about getting a new computer (most likely a Dell Dimension) but I want to make sure I am ready for the Windows Vista OS update. I keep hearing that 2 GB of RAM and a 256MB video card is optimal for Windows Vista, but what does this mean exactly? I am very much into video editing, so I will need as much RAM as I can get. Would getting 2GB be just enough to support Vista? Or would it leave me ample amount to work with for the memory-intensive task of editing video? Should I get 4GB to make sure?
