My boyfriend and I have not been dating very long.... the sex is ok but not earth shaking... how important is it anyway?

I never really had any other calamari than fried calamari, so I thought I'd try a calamari pasta dish. Anyway, when it came to cooking the calamari, I followed the instructions that said no more than 3-4 minutes on a high or medium heat. I didn't want to overcook them, but neither did I want to undercook them... how do I know when it's just right? I suppose my end result was somewhat chewy/rubbery, and from what I understand it shouldn't be? It's just hard to tell if it was under or overcooked. How can I tell when calamari is done?

My boyfriend and me have been together for about 3years and recently he had to moved about 3hours away from me to be with his mum, we split up for a short time, but now we are back together and are feelings are much stronger then befor, we started plaining him moving back in to my house. But then last week he applied for a plumbing corse which means hehas to stay where he is now. And now he cant moved down here for another year. Im so upset, he tells me he wants me so much but he has to do this forst. please help

I only ask because a lot of people like to say "white" and I have to think that if I were a God, and if I were creating a race of people meant to live outside without clothes and sunblock, I'd make them dark or olive skinned so they wouldn't sunburn as easily.

Also, where do you think the different colors came from? Were the genes inside Adam and Eve waiting to come out when certain groups started inbreeding, or were the races endowed by God at a later point? I'm curious.

P.S. If you don't believe in Adam and Eve, I guess you can answer, but I don't see much of a point. But, hey, it brings you two points closer to your Lear Jet, right?

I remember watching a family that was interviewed and everyone wwas stricken with a diagnosis of thyroid diesease, except theone member of the family that didnt eat a certain type of meat. The point of the interveiw was that ground up thyroid was put in the meat and the only one that didnt eat of it got sick. which simply means that thyroid disease can be manipulated and used like a weapon. What kind of americans can do this to their own neighbors?

It’s just most of my life I have had low self-esteem and no confidence. But this has recently changed and now I am more confident than I have ever been in my life, so much so, that I think I am starting to feel cocky with my new found confidence. Is it normal to turn cocky if you have never had confidence before? I mean like actually telling someone how I feel about them to their face. I have never felt that confident about doing that before. How can I stop getting carried away with my new found confidence and not turn in to a horrible person?

It seems to be the trend to tuck your laces inside your shoes, i have tried this however, they seem to hurt my feet when i walk, is there any way around this? I have seen shoes where there is a small amount of lace dangling from the last eyelet, is this cool? Please help me!

My husband and I have been together for a little over two years now I have a daughter that is 11. And I am in such a spot I love my husband very much but I feel as I need to choose my daughter or my husband. My husband is expecting way to much out of my daughter and if she doesn't act like he thinks I am suspose to punish her and I don't. She is a pre teen and I think he is wanting to much out of her. We have two computers in our house right n ow he is out on the road for a few weeks. My daughter and I are not allowed on his computer at all. But the pc he has does belong to my daughter he is using it for 6 months. That is another story. I think my husband wants to much out of my daughter and he is a very selfish man. He said the reason he is like this is because everything he ever had got taken or broke. I am up holding my daughter all the way. Yes she does wrong but who don't. Is my husband wrong by being selfish? Or is just me.

If a person has a contract with an agency in California and the contractor's residence and place of work is in Washington state, can the contractor file a civil action against the agency in Washington? It is good to say that in the contract itself indicates "the agreement is executed in California and shall be construed and enforced in accordance with the state law". But civil action is not about the contract itself, it is about some extra promises and expenses that just were exchanged by Emails and verbal words.
Overall, do I need to go to California to pursue the matter or just in Washington state I can initiate the class action?
