I will be moving to Canada in a few months time. I applied for the immigration in 2001 and qualified the interview. Am done with the medical and the pre-departure orientation and am awaiting the visa to be stamped. It might take another 3-4 months coz its already 2 months now. I wanted to know which city I should migrate to. I donot know anyone in Canada and am currently working for an airline in Pakistan. Any suggestions which place is good in terms of job/biz opportunities.

Can a DVD rom drive read a DVD+R? I undertand that I don't have a DVD burner; however, it is a DVD rom drive and I was wondering if it can still be able to read the data on a DVD+R disc by using some kind of software.

I will be away from my girlfriend for a year due to work. she is very considerate and has given my permission to do whatever I like within reason to get through the period. Granted most of the time shipments are complete and intact, however, UPS, FedEx and the rest simply care more about getting to the next stop on their route. Everyone should always tell the guy to put his electronic signature machine aside and wait while we empty the box and make sure it is all there. If they don't have the patience to wait, if their first action is handing over the clipboard, if their first action is not helping you verify that all the contents are in the box, then their business practices are bad. It's for everyone's good. I suppose they would drive even faster to make up for time lost at each stop standing there waiting for the receiving person putting them through this but honestly, it's the best way. They should not expect people to automatically sign first just so they can be on their way and leave us with a package we signed for that we didn't confirm was complete before signing. I think this should be a regulation. What do all of you think?

Found a poster a while back in Manhattan of the skyline in pencil drawing. Decided not to buy it at the time, but I'm trying to find some place online that sells it. Google/Yahoo searches and art searches are failing me here.

I have a 55 gallon tank with fish I have had for 2 years. I had one snail. It died not to long ago. But before it died I noticed I have about 20 baby snails. Where did they come from? Only one snail is all I had. The only other thing we can think of, is my son visited a lake in Michigan and brought some shells home and put them in the tank. Without washing them. So, do you think they came from my one snail, or, were they attached to these shells somehow and survived 2 weeks out of the water before they went into my tank? I can't figure this one out. Anyone know?
