was his funeral a display of respect for the God Father of Soul or a minstrel show the disrespects his legacy for the world to see?

James Brown would have wanted it to be that way. I met him once in Chicacgo for like 10 seconds he looked at me and said "smile kid, you don't live forever" he seemed happy he had that "I Feel GOOD!" look on lol i always remeber that song funny how life is huh

I didn't watch it, but I can feel pretty comfortable that he had the funeral he wanted and planned.

I'm sorry but I don't care. He was a wife beater IMO and not worth all the adoration.
