Yes they are, they always refer to the southern states as having the kkk, but some of the new england states are just as active. The Church of the American Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, led by Jeff Berry of Butler, Indiana, was the most active Klan organization in America back in October 22, 1999. The Ku Klux Klan has been virtually destroyed by civil judgements against them.

Many of them...but of course whose gonna take some crazy person with a sheet over their heads serious?! I certainly wouldn't. Plus if they tried anything they'd probably get shot!
