Why do we as gay people need to "come out of the closet?"?

As gays, I think all of us realize that homosexuality is completely normal and something we can't control. If homosexuality is just as normal as heterosexuality, then why do we need to come out to everyone that we're gay? Straight people don't come out saying they're straight. It's not as though I'm afraid to come out to people, it just seems that if we didn't come out to people it would put homosexuality along the same lines as heterosexuality.

Is A Short Term Car Loan To Restore Bad Credit A Good Idea?

I was thinking of getting a car through a dealership who deals with bad credit records, in hopes to restore some of my bad record. I am thinking of opening up a new auto loan and having it continued as a open good standing loan for about 6 months to a year. I have the cash to purchase the car in question out right, but would this do the trick instead?

My freind is driving with out car insurance. Is this ok?

A freind of mine, 23yrs old, has just bought a $1000 car to get herself around from work and school. She lives alone with her sister, who is 25 and grandmother and has told me that she needs this car badly but can not afford to pay car insurance. I've been told that she can go to jail and loose her lisence. What can be done to help her out? She lives in florida USA.

Question for Guys . . .Men look but don't approach . . . why ?

I'm not ' Victoria Secret ' beautiful, but am found to be pretty and attractive. I'm 50, have youthful appearance (mistaken for 35 - 40), attentive of my shape and appearance, outgoing, friendly, smile easily. I notice that at times a man that I find to be of interest will notice me, smile etc. yet won't approach to make conversation etc. They seem that they want to, yet don't. Why do guys do this. I'm aware that some of them might already be in a committed relationship, but what about the others. I'm am patient to meet ' him ' , yet also wondering as to why men behave this certain way. And, yes, I do smile back, subtle yet friendly. Any insight why guys behave this way ?

Has the Walmart door greeter ever annoyed you?

You know the door greeter when you enter the front entrance of most Walmart Stores? Has that person ever annoyed you? Today I was returning some crappy gift I got for Christmas and upon entering the door the greeter semi smiled and says to me "No happy face today huh?" I thought who in the H*** does he think he is? Trying to be some darn comedian..It's lucky I did not punch the guy...What a job..handing out smiley face stickers to little whinning kids and trying to BS us adults...

Why is the world today so obssessed with being politically correct and being so moral/immoral????

an example would be the death penalty. Like the controversy over lethal injection. The world has changed from so many death penalties because it isn't "fair" or "it violates civil liberties and rights". why should they have any rights if they are just taking the rights away from the people they murdered? Maybe I just don't know enough about the situation but if anyone has any info and would like to enlighten me please do because I am struggling to understand this concept. How can I get details of a murder that took place 21 years ago in texas?

I'm 22 years old, when I was 1 1/2 years, my dad killed my mom. Now, he's trying to be a part of me and my sister's lives. I'm not intrested, but my sister seems to be falling for his lies, and his claim that it was an accident. I'm worried that he couldd be dangerous. He is going to be released from prison in February. How can I get court records and things in Texas to show my sister what really happened? Thanks for any help!!
