If you want to grow then...... take a zinc supplement - seriously! It will help you release growth hormone from your pit. gland! Eat a healthy diet of high protein foods like eggs, chicken and plenty of fruits and veggies. Take a zinc supplement.
I wish you well and don't grow too tall! Being petite is nice when you are a female.

What your mom drank when she was ten will have absolutely no effect on your height.
Coffee does not affect your stature: your basic nutrition and genetics will determine your height. Drink milk and eat healthy and you'll get as tall as you are programmed to. Eat crappy and you may not attain full growth potential.
Coffee is a diuretic, meaning it makes you pee out water that your system may need. It also contains caffeine, which affects your adrenergic nervous system. Neither of these are neccessarily good things. Drink lots of water- it's what our bodies are meant to drink.

Well, I am a part of the "short girl" group as well.
I am 23 and I am 5' 4".
By the time you hit about 7th or 8th grade, you are basically done growing, for a girl that is.
I know, it is upsetting, but I would rather be average height or a little shorter, then extremely tall.

Coffee isn't all that good for you but it didn't stunt her growth. You are 5'2 the same reason your mom is, genetics!

No, not at all. Coffee does not stunt your growth. That is a myth.

Yes, caffeine will do that, but if you don't drink a lot of that (remember there is a lot in soda, avoid that too), or smoke, and you eat a proper diet of fresh fruit, vegetables and proteins and get plenty of exercise there is no reason you can't outgrow her in the next three or four years.

No I drank soda and I'm 5'3 and my 15 yr old daughter is 5'8 1/2.
It is genetics that decides.

Hey you are taller than me and my mother has never been a coffee drinker. Lets attribute the situation to mother nature.

doesn't seem to stunt your growth then, does it. I don't think it can that much.
