I just recently got married to a 27 year old man. I have caught him sucking his thumb while sleeping. Does anyone know if it is a mental thing or should I be concerned about this? I do not want any idiotic replies. I am wanting serious replies.

& don't tell me it's because such things fall under "miracles", "blessings" &/or "gifts of god" because the way i interpret it is in these following examples
miracles - causing the blind to see
blessings - helping the blind, like seeing eye dogs
gifts of god - any form of talent.
thus leaving little room to explain clairvoyance, & such things of similar nature.
also, upon doing some research, i found that Judaism (the root religion where christianity comes from) has the kabbalah, which is a form of jewish mysticism.
there are other examples too, just look them up yourself, i just point out some of the things that fascinate me, & ask why.

So, if you've seen all my other questions, you know I was a bit concerned about a previous root canal done in October. No throbbing, no senstivity really to cold or hot, but sensitivity to bite and when it's really cold, maybe a little discomfort, the gum is still a little swolen and sometimes it feels like the temporary crown is sticking out further than on other days. Anyhow, I am going on the 30th of January (sometime roun there). She's going to check me out. Is there a dentist or professional that can advise me of what to ask her to do?
