It's different than irony or a simple contradiction. It's something that appears contradictory but is actually true... it's real and makes sense, but our perceptions figure it's a contradiction.

Something that doesn't seem possible but is apparently true...
ie- The homeopath and the MD sharing an office... What a paradoxical paradox... lol

i was watching futurama the other night were fry and the crew went in time and is later found out that he is in fact his own great grandfather.
