I think this is one area where we can learn someting from the Protestants. I think that this would help some Catholics to discover that the Bible is a Catholic book. After all, the Catholic Church put the books of the New Testament together, so it shouldn't be surprising that it agrees with the Catholic faith when taken in context.

She just broke up with her boyfriend of about 5 years, if not more. Shes moved back home and I feel really bad for her. This is her first boyfriend and first breakup. Shes 29 yrs old and shes thinking about her future or lack of. Which i dont think is an issue as she is a great, beautiful person and im positive she's going to find someone who is 10 times better than her ex. I've never been in a relationship myself so im kinda lacking in advice. And I dont know we are just not very open emotionally to each other. I feel bad like im ignoring the issue because nothing has really been said about it. I cant tell if she wants to talk about it (its only been 2 days). Any advice or help or anythign would be really helpful. Thanks for reading all this too.

My mom bought me a keyboard from a garage sale. It was the thought that counts. The lady said it worked but it had been rained on that morning and was drenched inside and out. Desperate to make a good present for me, mom wiped it up and took it to an electronics store and asked them to fit a power plug to it. Mom said the keyboard flickered and then went off. I about flipped a gasket when she said the inside still leaked a little bit of water when she picked it up to bring it home!!!!!!!

I've tried letting it sit out and dry, but I put batteries in today and it's fried. Is there anything I can do to save this beautiful keyboard? I want to take it with me on a roadtrip.

I am only 21 and have two herniated disks between lumbar L4-L5 and L5-S-1. I have gotten an MRI and they are compressing my nerve, I believe the lower one was protruding 5mm, and 4mm for the other disk with disk height roughly cut in half and bottom two disks have lost a good portion of their water content. I have had pain everyday for 7 months now, and though it is to a manageable point, I am not able to do any real activities like running, training, and basketball. I have went to see chiros, did PT, elec. therapy, decompression, traction, ice/heat, vitamins, exercises, and had cortisone shots with nothing seeming to help. I am looking at possibly going for a more invasive treatment now. Has any one been through this with a similar situation and been able to really come back? It might sound dumb, but it is important to me to be active again, at least for a few years, I'd rather die at 30 being able to move then like this for the rest of my life, its not living for me.

Five years ago I had my daughter. I am now married with another child. Recently my first "baby's daddy" came around wanting to see our daughter. While we were talking, his phone rang and he said he was "hangin with my baby mama." I asked him, is that all I am? Baby's mama? No name? He said people know my name but my status is "baby's mama." Is that good or bad? Is baby's momma the same as ho or slut? Does a baby's mama take precidence over a current girlfriend? Are we respected or just put up with?
